Btw it might be a good idea to do a raffle or something for Vegetto. I'm only saying that because he's on the top and as a result is more "special" than the others.
Good idea, that's only fair after all.

This project is going to go much smoother if no one is hung up on specific dibs for characters. Otherwise, feelings will inevitably be hurt, resentment will be held, and overall it will hurt the final product.
You should be perfectly content drawing Appule or Giran as you would be drawing Gohan or Vegetto. The more randomly these character-assignments are doled out, the better.

I agree, it also lets people draw characters that they wouldn't normally. A plus in my book.

Definitely, that makes the most sense. Although characters that interact with each-other (Trunks/Goten/Kaioshin), who belong to pairs (Yamu/Spopo) and the like should be given to the same artists, otherwise it could get difficult/weird.

That would be fun to see

Its will only take that the people that were assigned to a pair of characters decide how their drawings will interact so that it make sense when the image is placed together.

I guess you're right, but at the very least, Gohan and Cell's beam clash should be contained by one artist, as should Pure Buu and SSJ3 Gokuu as in those instances, characters are touching to the point that it's almost a logistic possibility to pull off well.

25 is a lot to draw; I was happy with only 4 or 5. ^^; I'm going back to a being a "maybe" instead of a "yes". I totally understand the raffle, but I'd have rather picked my characters; it'd feel like work instead of fun if I got stuck with characters I didn't want to draw or ones that don't have any special meaning to me. Sorry.
I'll sleep on it and decide if I'm pulling out or not in the morning.
On hiatus.

I understand. Of course, there's no particular time limit, so potentially you could do one character a week for half a year.
Or, how about doing a raffle, but just do it for each of the character sets at a time? Everyone's assigned one set, then when they finish that one they can do another if they want. And we just keep going like that until all the sets are done. Everyone's free to drop out when they've had their fill.
Either way, seems like the best option is to recruit way more volunteers.

I'm not really much of an artist, but I'd be happy to help in this amazing endeavor. Being not much of an artist, I doubt I'll be able to get too many characters done, but at the least I'd be happy to lower the workload to even a small extent.

I could also help with filling some gaps and doing some less wanted characters.
Here's my Goku:

I'll definitely take a set, and probably then some. This is going to be fun.

I understand how you feel too, I liked the idea of people choosing the characters they want to draw since that way the picture will look better and will be finished in a short time (or at least when it needs to be finished).
Now I don't know, since I haven't drawn that much different characters in one row, and if they aren't ones that I like much my interest will decrease... but maybe I could help out a bit...

So, dumping a buttload of randomly selected characters to draw on people all at once…also a bad idea.
I think I’ve got this figured out now though.
I’ll task each person with 2~3 characters to draw. Usually ones that are interacting in some way, and therefore should all be drawn by the same person. Once someone’s finished a set of characters, if they’re willing to work more I’ll assign them another set. I’ll take people’s preferences into account, but it won’t be absolute. I’ll also consider which characters I think should be done at the moment, and a big spinning wheel may be involved.
Also, whoever contributes the most characters gets to draw Vegetto at the end.
