Is Naruto at DBZ's level of popularity in the past?

Not only that, comparing One Piece and Naruto have nothing to do with DBZ. And this a pure DragonBall forum last time I checked. Not trying to sound like a mod, just saying diverting our attention to primarily One Piece and Naruto...that seems kind of out of boundaries if the discussion has nothing to do with DB/Z/GT.

So, do most people just think that it has the potential, but is not/most likely won't be more popular than DBZ?

Just wondering if there was an agreement on this.

I don't think it ever will be. Or at least I wouldn't want to be alive if it was. Still, I just think/hope Naruto is another crappy fad where in two years (at most I'm hoping), it'll disappear and people will realize.... I'll just stop now before I get more negative and then get bitched to.

You don't have to get negative...not that I care, you've seen it, so you can complain, it's just other people who make fun of the show who haven't even seen it. (X*cough, cough*play*cough*)

Apparently it's not a fad in Japan. It's going on it's sixth year there.

Yea, but in Japan... all these series are aimed at young kids, so it is understandable as to why the audience cares about something that is fight fight fight and crap plot.

Ok we get it. You don't like Naruto. Sure its not as good as fanboys say it is but its still is an enjoyable anime for many people.
