So over here there's an image with a ep.23 summary that does indeed refer to "Piccolo's death" (over on the right hand side):

Piccolo dying increases Gohan's ki, which allows Goku to lock onto his ki and teleport back to Earth.

Can someone please translate db super eps 24-26 titles and summaries can't wait what happens next I just hope frieze fight with goku & vegeta doesnt happen the same way as the movie especially sorbet's laser beam that was a joke he could easily deflect it even if he didn't see it coming I don't think it would injure him enough to have a mortal wound that could kill him, it would make sense if goku sees the laser beam and deflects it a frieza throws his laser beam while goku is offguard

And that alone makes Gohan more useful than he ever was in the movie.

It's fun if you dislike the character and honestly don't care about how he's treated. Call me a sadist, but all this fan outrage about Gohan's treatment is hilarious, I wouldn't mind if he kept being the punching bag for a long while.

It's not that I think people aren't allowed to be displeased with his, or any other character's, treatment. But to constantly see posts that pretty much amount to 'witty' one liners about something that may yet turn out fairly well, even in threads that don't really adhere to that, just gets irksome.

It's quickly become the case that hating Super and anything and everything in regards to it is the 'in' thing to do.

Episode 23: “The Earth and Gohan in Dire Peril! Come Quick, Son Goku!!” (December 13th)
Piccolo sacrifices himself to save Gohan from Freeza’s Death Beam. As Gohan’s lamentation resounds, contact is finally made with Goku and co. Goku locks on to Gohan’s ki (which has swelled up due to Piccolo’s death) and teleports back to Earth.

Episode 24: “Charge! Freeza vs Son Goku. This is the Fruit of My Training!” (December 20th)
The fated battle between Goku and Freeza has finally begun. Freeza can’t hide his joy at finally being able to exact his revenge, and his methods gradually make Goku angrier and angrier. The whole time, the two battle but are merely sizing each other up, which makes Vegeta lose his temper and suddenly butt in on the fight.

Episode 25: Title Undecided (December 27th)
Goku has risen even higher through training. But even seeing Goku like this, Freeza still smiles fearlessly.

Episode 23: “The Earth and Gohan in Dire Peril! Come Quick, Son Goku!!” (December 13th)
Piccolo shields Gohan and gets hit by Freeza’s Death Beam. Meanwhile, Bulma finally manages to get in touch with Whis. Goku and Vegeta (still training on the planet of Beerus, God of Destruction) are informed of Freeza’s resurrection and that the Earth is in peril. However, it will take 35 minutes for the two of them to return to Earth.

Episode 24: “Charge! Freeza vs Son Goku. This is the Fruit of My Training!” (December 20th)
The fated showdown between Goku and the revenge-obsessed Freeza has finally begun. The two continue to fight evenly, but Freeza comes out with an unexpected attack.

Episode 25: Undecided (December 27th)
Freeza has powered up even more by training, so to counter him Goku transforms into a form surpassing even Super Saiyan God. But even after seeing Goku’s new form, Freeza still smiles fearlessly. And so Freeza likewise finally plays his trump card.

I'm guessing vegeta will fight in episode 27 and it lasts till ep 28 and in ep 29 goku kills frieza and piccolo gets revived at end.....

I could, but it's fun to make predictions, and if pattern recognition serves me right, Gohan is going to get Yamcha'd. If I'm right, I get a good laugh out of the episode. If I'm wrong, I end up pleasantly surprised.

I'm a fan of what the character once was, but I also find it funny. I had a genuine lol moment when Beerus one-shotted him using Buu's body.

In the movie freeza threw a giant ball towards goku, maybe that is what the unexpected attack is? Could be something different but it was the attack freeza used in the movie before they both transform into their ascended forms

Can't you guys just accept that DBS is non canon? Let's just try to enjoy the series the way it is

I'm not making any claims about what is and is not canon, and I don't care what is and is not canon. I'm simply trying to illustrate the degree to which, and inconsistent manner in which, FutureGohanSSJ2 is twisting things in order to reject the idea that Dragon Ball Super takes place in the same continuity of various pieces of filler.

I'm not "twisting" anything. I love how the mods of this forum don't seem to mess with people here who are up in the thousands of posts, and I'm assuming that means y'all get special privileges, such as being incredibly rude and condescending to other forum members here, and yet nobody says anything to you guys. Funny how things work out that way.

All I'm saying is that this is being stated as the Complete Continuation of the story, and Toriyama is involved. And nothing in Super has been majorly relying on filler for use as a major plot point. So, honestly? Gregory? Satan's crew? That ONE LINE of dialouge from Bulma in episode 22 about, "That frog...", which by the way, doesn't specifically say anything other than that, do not reference anything filler related. Really, all of these are just easter eggs. And anyone complaining about these is really, honestly, truthfully, nitpicking to the fullest definition of the word.

But perhaps it impacts the later episodes. I don't know enough about the production process.
