Are you satisfied with the story of Super so far?

^ you're not alone in this. Individual there are some highlights but as a whole I'm waiting to be impressed.

I think it'll be easier to be inpressed if we don't expect anything like Goku vs king piccolo...or well really ANYTHING form the 3 animated series. No matter how good of something they do, it won't LOOK good so it'll not have a good feel let's say Whis had a boss and he fought ssjgssj Vegito and THAT factually was the best fight ever....unfortunitly being that it's super tit would be colored awefully and if a fight looks like a kindergartener drew it it's not gonna be impressive or have a good vibe. A good thing to do is hope for something good for super's standards. We shouldn't have to do that but it's either lower expectations or leave sadly. I'll hope for something like Beerus dieing or at least getting owned in a fight by some villain, it may be colored poorly but I'll try to enjoy it as much as I can.

The story has yet to impress me. There is no drama or suspense. It's been just silly fun so far. This is not bad, but it definitely feels lacking.

Stop watching super if you hate super more than gt, the only good thing gt had were some of the fights and ssj4 goku/ vegeta design other than that gt's comedy sucked balls, story telling was bad as hell and the worst part goku becoming a kid not to mention whiny little bitch pan also gt was all about goku and at the end to an extent vegeta no character got the fight they deserved other than goku also they ruined trunks character as fuck it's like he became a big as puss in gt compared to his old self.....

There is beerus and whis in super, at least in super we got to see the whole gang fight, which was short lived in gt who did we saw fight besides goku and vegeta I'm only talking about a fight that mattered to some degree, in gt Gohan goten and trunks and vegeta fought but they had there ass handed to them by baby, super 17, vegeta only became relevant at the very end of gt when he became ss4 and the way he got that transformation was a joke at least in super he got the blue ssj god form on his own through training by a diety, also piccolo dieing for good was the worst thing in gt

Also there will be a possibility Gohan & piccolo could have some relevancy in super also the frost dude turning out to be a good guy who knows maybe he becomes a zfighter if u7 loses and u6 and u7 earth's are switched

I remember when Yo Son Goku and His Friends return, you had fans posting comments on this forum that was like "Why Goten and Trunks fighting? It should be Goku and Vegeta!" and "Goku and Vegeta are the main characters in the series. Let them fight!". Now people are sick of Goku and Vegeta despite them not showing up until the last part of ROF and Goku didn't show up to fight Beerus as a SSjG until much later.

Now that Super is doing some original stuff, I will say that I'm enjoying the story bits quite a lot. King Ryuu really gets Dragon Ball. Will be looking forward to seeing how this goes.

The series barely started who the fuck knows what will happen down the road, super had 2 retelling arcs which was a bad way to start a series personally it's too early to say that vegeta hasn't taken out a major bad guy I don't count bog and rof arc as super series technically the series started from ep28 and we had only 7 episodes of new content vegeta's 1st fight in GT was in episode 27 so you can't compare them, also there should be a reason toriyama made vegeta on par with Goku in super I think we just have to wait till he does take out a major baddie in super right now it's too early too early to say vegeta is 2nd fiddle in super, how can you not like Goku and vegeta going on feats together it's called character building which is new in super it is nice to see Goku & vegeta going on adventures together it's way better than in GT we had child Goku a whiny bitch pan and a pussy trunks there adventures were the most boring thing in gt, another worst thing gt did was gotenks was no where to be seen, even though in super he hasn't done much but if down the road they grow up it'll be cool to see them fuse

But he gets a lot of screen time and character development.

In Gt he was a side character alongside everyone else and his fights started and ended with him losing while in Super he's the 2nd main character and he put up a better fight against Beerus then Goku did and got to beat the hell out of Golden Freeza who beat up Goku and nearly killed him.

Super may be flawed but if there's one thing it's doing right it's Vegeta which is the complete opposite of Gt which went out of it's way to make him look bad.

PEople didnt just want vegeta though. They wanted the whole cast to be as relevant as they were in Z. Goku and Vegeta simply aren't enough to please everyone. However, it seems like both piccolo and Gohan are being built up again so we'll see where that goes.

We have Piccolo fighting again in both ROF and Super which is more then what he did in the Buu saga and GT. Piccolo died in GT and was used as a plot device in Hell which I remember pissed off a lot of fans.
