Episode #1 “Son Gokuu and Blooma”:

Part A: Son Gokuu and Blooma meet. Gokuu learns about the Dragon Balls and decides to leave his home to accompany Blooma on her journey to acquire the other four Dragon Balls.

Episode #2 “The Kinto’un of the Kame-Sen’nin”:

Part A: Son Gokuu meets Umigame and agrees to take him to the sea. Blooma reluctantly follows along, complaining that they’ll just be delayed. When the trio arrive at the sea Umigame asks Son Gokuu and Blooma to wait while he retrieves his master for a reward. The Kame-sen’nin appears soon after and rewards Gokuu with Kinto’un. After being shown Blooma’s ‘panties’ the Kame-sen’nin rewards her with the Three-Star Dragon Ball.
Part B: Son Gokuu and Blooma come across a village being terrorized by a shapes-shifting menace called Oolong. Oolong has been collecting girls to take as his wives from the village and will make another collection today. Gokuu is forced to dress up as a girl to find out where Oolong’s hideout is, but the disguise is quick to fall apart. Angry, Oolong transforms into a giant bull to confront Gokuu.
Episode #3 “The Fearsome Yamcha”:

Part A: Oolong is defeated and reveals that all of the girls he captured have been driving him like a slave to maintain their new luxurious lifestyles.
Part B: Oolong, who has joined Son Gokuu and Blooma on their quest, tries to escape only to find that he has been afflicted with PP candy. Meanwhile, Yamcha the Desert Bandit and Pu-erh spot Gokuu and friends, hoping to steal their capsules. Gokuu and Yamcha fight, but Gokuu’s hunger deprives him of the strength necessary to defeat Yamcha. When Yamcha learns that Gokuu is traveling with a girl, Blooma, Yamcha runs away. At his hideout, Yamcha swears he will overcome his fear of girls.
Episode #4 “Nightfall! The Grand Robbery Scheme”:
Covers Chapters #9-11
Part A: The night of their first meeting with Yamcha, Gokuu and friends set up camp in Oolong’s mobile home. Yamcha makes a second attempt to steal from them but is thwarted when he accidentally catches sight of Blooma taking a shower.
Part B: Son Gokuu, Blooma, and Oolong arrive at Mount Frypan with Yamcha and Pu-erh secretly following. The demonic ruler of Mount Frypan, the Gyuu-maou, asks Gokuu to retrieve his daughter and enlist the aid of the Kame-sen’nin, otherwise known as the Muten Roushi.
Episode #5 “Burning! Crisis at Mount Frypan”:

Part A: Son Gokuu finds Chichi and the two arrive on the Muten Roushi’s island.
Part B: Muten Roushi agrees to help the Gyuu-maou, but scolds him for his unsightly ways. Using the Kamehame-Ha that he has taken fifty years to perfect, the Muten Roushi accidentally destroys Mount Frypan, rather than put out the flames.
Episode #6 “Gegege no Ninjin-ka!”:
Covers Chapters #15-17
Part A: Gokuu copies the blast in a matter of moments, but can only manage to damage their car. Blooma retrieves the Seven-Star Ball from the remains of Mount Frypan. Gokuu accidentally agrees to marry Chichi when they next see each other.
Part B: Son Gokuu and Yamcha must team up to save Blooma after she is turned into a carrot by the leader of the feared Rabbit Gang.
Episode #7 “Finally! Shen Long Appears”:
Covers Chapters #18-20
Part A: Son Gokuu’s group (including Yamcha and Pu-erh) accidentally falls into a trap set by Pilaf. Pilaf, having stolen the remaining Dragon Balls summons Shen Long to grant his wish.
Part B: Oolong manages to make a wish before Pilaf, wishing for panties. Infuriated by his plans for world conquest being squashed, Pilaf recaptures everyone and places them in an impregnable room with a glass ceiling. When the sun rises in the morning Gokuu and friends will all be burned to death!
Episode #8 “Great Battle! The Full Moon Monster”:
Covers Chapters #21-23
Part A: With nothing to do but wait for their deaths Pu-erh admires the full moon. Gokuu chimes in about a story of an incredible monster that comes out during the full moon. This monster is so incredible it even killed his grandpa. Yamcha and the others soon realize that this monster was in fact Gokuu! Everyone warns him not to look at the moon, but Gokuu does so anyway. Seeing the full moon, Gokuu transforms into a giant ape!
Part B: Growing into such a huge monster breaks the prison, setting free both Gokuu and his friends. Gokuu sets about destroying Pilaf’s castle while Yamcha and the others frantically try to think of a way to change Gokuu back. Finally, Pu-erh changes into a pair of scissors and Yamcha cuts off Gokuu’s tail. Morning arrives and Gokuu wondered what sort of incredible guy could destroy an entire castle. Yamcha and the others choose to refrain from cluing Gokuu in on what happened last night. With the Dragon Balls having become regular stones for a year Blooma and friends decide to return to the city, Blooma and Yamcha officially a couple. Gokuu decides to learn martial arts from the Muten Roushi and parts ways with his friends.
Episode #9 “Son Gokuu and Kuririn”:
Covers Chapters #24-26
Part A: Son Gokuu approaches the Muten Roushi about training under him. Roushi sets Gokuu out on a task to bring him a pichi-pichi gal, first. Gokuu’s attempts meet with decidedly ill results. Kuririn appears on the scene also wishing to train under the Muten Roushi. Leaving together on Kinto’un, the two youths set off one last time to bring the Muten Roushi a pichi-pichi gal.
Part B: Son Gokuu and Kuririn save Lunch from being arrested.
Episode #10 “A Battle of Wits! The Search for the Turtle-Marked Stone”:
Covers Chapters #27-29
Part A: The Muten Roushi accepts Son Gokuu and Kuririn as his pupils after meeting Lunch. The four move to a bigger island to begin the boys’ training.
Part B: Gokuu and Kuririn must search for a rock with the kanji for ‘kame’ (turtle) written on it that the Muten Roushi has tossed into the vast jungle. He who fails to find the rock first will go without dinner. Gokuu is outwitted by Kuririn but the second disciple’s deceitfulness is repaid in kind by the dinner being poorly cooked fugu.
Episode #11 “The Tough Training of the Kame-sen’nin”:

Part A: As part of their training for the twenty-first Tenka’ichi Budoukai Son Gokuu and Kuririn deliver milk.
Part B: Gokuu and Kuririn continue to train, now having to wear twenty kilogram turtle shells on their backs.
Episode #12 “The Twenty-First Tenka’ichi Budoukai Begins”:

Part A: Son Gokuu, Kuririn, and Yamcha enter the twenty-first Tenka’ichi Budoukai. In the preliminary rounds they discover that their training has placed them well above other contestants.
Part B: Gokuu and friends make it through the rest of the preliminary battles. Gokuu doesn’t recognize Yamcha at first due to the older fighter’s new haircut.
Episode #13 “The Final Eight”:

Part A: The Tenka’ichi Budoukai Announcer explains to the final eight the match-ups and rules.
Part B: Kuririn battles Bacterian, narrowly winning after remembering he has no nose to smell the disgusting combatant. In the second fight Yamcha faces the mysterious Jackie Chun, but is defeated.
Episode #14 “That Man! Son Gokuu VS Giran”:
Covers Chapters #38-40
Part A: Namu battles Lanfan, narrowly winning against her womanly wiles. Muten Roushi, disguised as Contestant Jackie Chun, suspects there is a great burden on the shoulders of Namu.
Part B: Son Gokuu does battle with Giran. After a near defeat by ring-out, Gokuu shows off his impressive strength by breaking free of Giran’s Guru-guru Gum.
Episode #15 “Kuririn VS Jackie Chun”:

Part A: Kuririn battles Jackie Chun.
Part B: Kuririn is defeated by the vastly superior Jackie Chun.
Episode #16 “Get Up, Gokuu! The Fearsome Tenkuu Pekeji-Ken”:

Part A: Son Gokuu battles and defeats Namu after an exciting aerial battle.
Part B: Namu is dejected that has lost, now forced to return home without water. Jackie Chun reveals that water is free on this continent, hands Namu a capsule for storing water, and asks Namu to stand in for him as the Muten Roushi so as to throw off Yamcha’s trail.
Episode #17 “The Final Match! Son Gokuu VS Jackie Chun”:

Part A: Son Gokuu and Jackie Chun battle.
Part B: Jackie Chun lures Gokuu to sleep with hypnosis, but Gokuu is quick to awaken once Blooma yells that it is dinner time.
Episode #18 “Roar! Excitement at the Tenka’ichi Budoukai”:

Part A: Son Gokuu sees a full moon and transforms into his Giant Monkey form. Jackie Chun uses a Max-Power Kamehame-Ha to destroy the moon.
Part B: Everyone thinks Jackie Chun has killed Gokuu, but Jackie points to the moon. After a tirade from the Tenka’ichi Budoukai Announcer for the loss of the moon Gokuu awakens none the wiser. Kuririn gives Gokuu his dougi so that Gokuu doesn’t finish the rest of the fight naked.
Episode #19 “Clash!! Power VS Power”:

Part A: Jackie Chun defeats Son Gokuu thanks to his longer legs giving him more kicking power.
Part B: Gokuu decides to set off to find the Four-Star Dragon Ball.
Episode #20 “Son Gokuu VS Colonel Silver”:

Part A: Son Gokuu comes across Colonel Silver of the Red Ribbon Army. Kinto’un is destroyed by Silver’s rocket launcher. Defeating Silver for revenge, Gokuu hops in a plane piloted by a Red Ribbon Army robot and heads north.
Part B: Gokuu is taken in by a girl and her family after having crashed in Jingle Village. After learning about the Red Ribbon Army Gokuu sets off to free the mayor from the White Company’s Muscle Tower.
Episode #21 “The Contemptible Red Ribbon Army”:
Covers Chapters #58-60
Part A: Son Gokuu climbs Muscle Tower and eventually comes across Metallic. Finding the android a challenge at first, Gokuu eventually defeats the foe.
Part B: On the fourth floor Son Gokuu confronts Ninja Murasaki. Murasaki is a bit of a silly foe and their battle winds up involving a foot race. Unfortunately, Ninja Murasaki has an ace up his sleeve!
Episode #22 “The Kind and Gentle Hatchan”:
Covers Chapters: #61-63
Part A: Son Gokuu eventually defeats Murasaki. Forced into a corner, Murasaki unleashes Artificial Human No. 8 upon Gokuu.
Part B: Artificial Human No. 8 refuses to hurt Gokuu. Gokuu decides to call No. 8 ‘Hatchan’, which is easier to remember. Hatchan agrees to help Gokuu save the mayor and the pair eventually reach the top of Muscle Tower. General White presses a button to send Gokuu and Hatchan falling through a trapdoor.
Episode #23 “Son Gokuu VS General White”:
Covers Chapters: #64-66
Part A: Son Gokuu battles and defeats Buyon.
Part B: Son Gokuu confronts General White and with some help from Hatchan defeats White and saves the mayor.
Episode #24 “Son Gokuuu VS Metro West”:
Covers Chapters: #67-69
Part A: Hatchan gives Son Gokuu the Two-Star Dragon Ball he found while walking in the snow one day. With the Dragon Radar broken Gokuu decides to visit Blooma in Metro West, but without a means of transportation he will have to walk. An elderly man from Jingle Village reveals that Kinto’un cannot be destroyed and asks if Gokuu has tried summoning Kinto’un since its supposedly obliteration. Gokuu attempts to summon Kinto’un and is rewarded with the return of his old friend. Gokuu sets off for Metro West.
Part B: Son Gokuu explores Metro West while looking for Blooma. A policeman eventually takes Gokuu to Blooma’s house where Blooma decides to skip school and go with Gokuu on his search for the Dragon Balls after finishing the Dragon Radar repairs. Doctor Brief comments that Blooma accidentally took his capsule case and not hers.
Episode #25 “Son Gokuu VS Underwater Deep Sea Exploration”:
Covers Chapters: #70-72
Part A: Son Gokuu and Blooma search for the next Dragon Ball, which is underwater. Having brought along her dad’s capsules full of nothing but pornographic magazines and with Gokuu unable to hold his breath long enough the duo decide to visit the Kame-sen’nin for an underwater craft. Meanwhile, the Red Ribbon Army has assigned General Blue the talk of defeating Son Gokuu. Blue’s men locate Kame House and mistake it for the ‘enemy’s base’ and the Muten Roushi as the ‘professor who invented the radar’.
Part B: Son Gokuu, Blooma, and Kuririn dive in search of the Dragon Ball. Blue follows suit with some of his men while Dock leads an attack on Kame House.
Episode #26 “Son Gokuu VS the Pirates Cave”:
Covers Chapters: #73-75
Part A: The Muten Roushi drives off Dock and his men. Meanwhile, Blue continues his pursuit of Gokuu through an elaborate pirate cave grotto.
Part B: After evading some traps Son Gokuu and friends find the underwater pirate harbor. Gokuu holds off a powerful mecha defending the harbor while Kuririn and Blooma run ahead. Blue follows the two in secret, even going so far as to erase the directional clue left behind for Gokuu and replace it with one leading Gokuu in the wrong direction. Gokuu destroys the pirate robot but the ensuing explosion causes the cave to begin collapsing in on itself. Little time remains before our heroes will be stuck underground forever!
Episode #27 “Son Gokuu VS General Blue”:
Covers Chapters: #76-78
Part A: While Kuririn battles General Blue for the Dragon Ball Son Gokuu is busy fighting a giant talking octopus! Gokuu eventually eats the ‘takoyaki’ and rushes to Kuririn’s aid.
Part B: Gokuu battles General Blue. Blue’s chou-nou-ryoku makes the fight a difficult one. A mouse appears, scaring Blue and breaking his concentration. With the cave collapsing everyone makes a run for it, Gokuu escaping with the Three-Star Ball and the mouse that saved him from Blue.
Episode #28 “Countdown! Son Gokuu Gives Chase”:
Covers Chapters: #79-80
Part A: Both parties escape the grotto and begin the return flight to Kame House.
Part B: Blue uses his chou-nou-ryoku on rope to tie everyone together. Lunch returns home after having run off with the diamond Blooma found at the pirate’s cave and frees everyone. Son Gokuu gives chase to General Blue, who has made an escape with the Dragon Balls.
Episode #29 “General Blue VS Arale-chan”:

Part A: Son Gokuu and General Blue arrive at Penguin Village.
Part B: Arale-chan helps retrieves the Dragon Balls for Gokuu and sends General Blue packing.
Episode #30 “Son Gokuu VS Tao Pai-Pai”:
Covers Chapters: #84-86
Part A: In the Karin Holy Land Son Gokuu saves Upa from Captain Yellow of the Red Ribbon Army. Gokuu learns that Bora has the Four-Star Dragon Ball and about the history of the Karin-tou. Supreme Commander Red hires Assassin Tao Pai-Pai to kill Son Gokuu and retrieve the Dragon Balls. Tao Pai-Pai kills General Blue as an example of his work and sets off for Karin-tou.
Part B: Tao Pai-Pai arrives at Gokuu’s location and kills Bora. Gokuu tries futilely to avenge Bora, but is supposedly killed with a Dodon-Pa.
Episode #31 “A Thin-Air Battle”:
Covers Chapters: #87-89
Part A: Tao Pai-Pai leaves with the Dragon Balls in Gokuu’s backpack. Son Gokuu awakens, having survived the Dodon-Pa thanks to the Four-Star Ball in his dougi. Deciding to climb Karin-tou to obtain more power, Gokuu climbs and climbs until he finally reaches the top.
Part B: Son Gokuu trains with Karin, the sage who lives at the top of Karin-tou. After three days Son Gokuu accomplishes what took the Muten Roushi three years: taking the Super Holy Water from Karin. Karin reveals that the Super Holy Water is merely normal rain water and the real increase in power came from adapting to the thin air environment. Gokuu thanks Karin for his training and sets off to battle Tao Pai-Pai once again. As Gokuu leaves Karin thinks to himself that he might very well have surpassed the Muten Roushi.
Episode #32 “Feelings Left Unfinished”:

Part A: Tao Pai-Pai returns for the Dragon Ball he missed. Son Gokuu saves Upa from a close-call and begins his rematch with Tao Pai-Pai.
Part B: Son Gokuu defeats Tao Pai-Pai rather effortlessly, the assassin’s cheap tricks proving useless. With Tao Pai-Pai supposedly killed by his own grenade, Gokuu promises Upa he will gather the Dragon Balls and wish Bora back to life.
Episode #33 “Raid! Son Gokuu VS the Red Ribbon Army Headquarters”:
Covers Chapters: #93-95
Part A: Son Gokuu charges to the Red Ribbon Army Headquarters on Kinto’un to the horror of Supreme Commander Red. Blooma, Yamcha and everyone else at Kame House decide to follow after Gokuu to lend a hand.
Part B: Gokuu tears through the Red Ribbon Army HQ mercilessly. Red complains that he wants to use the Dragon Balls to make himself taller so he can be more popular with the gals. Adjutant Black can’t take it anymore, so he shoots Red in the head and takes over command of the Red Ribbon Army. Black pilots a mecha and begins to do battle with Son Gokuu.
Episode #34 “The Fall of the Red Ribbon Army”:
Covers Chapters: #96-98
Part A: Son Gokuu kills Black, having effectively defeated the Red Ribbon Army for good.
Part B: Blooma and Yamcha’s group meet up with Gokuu. With the last Dragon Ball not appearing on the Radar the Muten Roushi suggests they all go to Uranai Baba. By fighting Uranai Baba’s warriors they can have her divine where the last Dragon Ball is without having to pay out the nose.
Episode #35 “The March of the Five Warriors of Uranai Baba”:

Part A: Kuririn, Pu-erh, and Upa defeat Dracule Man. Yamcha then faces off with Suke-san.
Part B: Yamcha battles Mira-kun, but the fight begins to go badly for Yamcha.
Episode #36 “BAD END! Son Gokuu VS Akkuman”:
Covers Chapters: #102-104
Part A: Yamcha is defeated by Mira-kun, who in turn is defeated by Son Gokuu.
Part B: Akkuman is the next to fall to Son Gokuu.
Episode #37 “Overwhelmed?! Son Gokuu VS the Masked Man”:
Covers Chapters: #105-107
Part A: Son Gokuu fights the fifth fighter, a mysterious man in a mask. This man can even perform the Kamehame-Ha!
Part B: The Muten Roushi theorizes that this fifth fighter must very well be Son Gohan, his student and the Gokuu’s grandpa! The Masked Man breaks off Gokuu’s tail after swinging Gokuu around by it.
Episode #38 “Great King Pilaf-sama Returns”:
Covers Chapters: #108-110
Part A: Son Gohan reveals himself and forfeits the battle. Son Gokuu is overjoyed to see his grandpa again. Uranai Baba points Gokuu in the direction of the final Dragon Ball.
Part B: Son Gokuu confronts Pilaf, Mai, and Shuu for the last Dragon Ball. After their mecha prove able to do little more than destroy Gokuu’s clothes, Pilaf hands over the One-Star Ball. Gokuu takes Shuu’s outfit and returns to his friends.
Episode #39 “Let’s Train For the Twenty-Second Tenka’ichi Budoukai in Three Years”:

Part A: Son Gokuu summons Shen Long, reviving Bora from the dead.
Part B: Son Gokuu and friends all decide to begin training for the twenty-second Tenka’ichi Budoukai in three years’ time.
Episode #40 “The Twenty-Second Tenka’ichi Budoukai Begins”:
Covers Chapters: #113-115
Part A: Everyone arrives at the twenty-second Tenka’ichi Budoukai. This year Tenshinhan and Chaozu, students of the Tsuru-sen’nin, will participate. The Tsuru-sen’nin is an old rival of the Muten Roushi.
Part B: Everyone battles in the preliminaries. Son Gokuu faces Chapa-Ou, a previous winner of the Tenka’ichi Budoukai. Gokuu impresses with his new strength and skill and eventually makes it into the final eight.
Episode #41 “Yamcha VS Tenshinhan”:
Covers Chapters: #116-118
Part A: The match-ups for the final eight are decided.
Part B: Tenshinhan and Yamcha battle. Tenshinhan breaks Yamcha’s leg, despite Yamcha showing off the Kamehame-Ha.
Episode #42 “Kuririn VS Chaozu”:
Covers Chapters: #119-121
Part A: Jackie Chun faces the Man-Wolf who is still upset about Jackie destroying the moon at the last tournament.
Part B: Kuririn battles Chaozu, who has a bit of a counting problem. Chaozu unveils the Dodon-Pa while Kuririn makes use of the Kamehame-Ha. Kuririn eventually wins by distracting Chaozu with mathematics.
Episode #43 “Jackie Chun VS Tenshinhan”:
Covers Chapters: #122-124
Part A: Son Gokuu easily defeats Panputto.
Part B: Jackie Chun battles Tenshinhan. Satisfied with the strength and commitment of the new generation, Jackie forfeits the match despite not showing off his full power.
Episode #44 “Son Gokuu VS Kuririn”:
Covers Chapters: #125-127
Part A: Tenshinhan confronts the Muten Roushi over his decision to forfeit. The Muten Roushi implores Tenshinhan to abandon the Tsuru-sen’nin and his ways of evil. Meanwhile, Son Gokuu and Kuririn battle.
Part B: Son Gokuu defeats Kuririn, showing that his tail is no longer a weakness.
Episode #45 “The Final Match! Son Gokuu VS Tenshinhan”:
Covers Chapters: #128-130
Part A: Son Gokuu and Tenshinhan battle in the championship round of the twenty-second Tenka’ich Budoukai. Both appear mostly even, despite Tenshinhan’s arsenal of techniques.
Part B: The brutal battle continues, but Gokuu finds himself to dodge at critical points. Tenshinhan slowly begins to realize something is afoul.
Episode #46 “Clash!! Power VS Wit”:
Covers Chapters: #131-133
Part A: Tenshinhan demands Chaozu quit cheating for him. The Tsuru-sen’nin orders Tenshinhan to kill Son Gokuu, but Tenshinhan rebukes him. Chaozu also reveals he wants to see Ten-san fight at his full strength for the first time. The Muten Roushi sends the Tsuru-sen’nin flying with a Kamehame-Ha, allowing the fight to continue free of interruption and corruption. Tenshinhan uses the Kikou-Hou, seemingly destroying the ring and Son Gokuu!
Part B: Son Gokuu is revealed to have leapt into the air to avoid the blast. With no ring to fall back into whoever hits the ground first will be declared the loser. Gokuu and Tenshinhan continue their battle in mid-air, but with Tenshinhan’s ability to fly he won’t have to land while Gokuu must submit to gravity. Gokuu uses a Kamehame-Ha to propel himself into Tenshinhan, knocking both of them to the ground faster. Gokuu accidentally rams into a truck before Tenshinhan hits the ground and is declared the loser.
Episode #47 “The Revival of Piccolo Daimaou”:
Covers Chapters: #134-135
Part A: Tenshinhan doesn’t quite feel like a winner, but Gokuu refuses half of the prize money since he doesn’t really understand money anyway. Kuririn retrieves Gokuu’s Four-Star Ball, since Gokuu is too tired to move around much. Everyone hears a shriek and Gokuu recognizes it as Kuririn’s. A weird monster killed Kuririn and stole the Four-Star Ball and tournament roster. Gokuu gives chase against the stern order of the Muten Roushi.
Part B: The Muten Roushi reveals the backstory of the Piccolo Daimaou.
Episode #48 “The March of the Mazoku”:
Covers Chapters: #136-138
Part A: Son Gokuu confronts, but is defeated by, Tambourine.
Part B: Piccolo Daimaou births Cymbal. Gokuu awakens from his defeat at the hands of Tambourine and eats meat he finds cooking. This meat belongs to Yajirobe, who appears just in time to find Gokuu has finished off his food. The two battle for a moment before Gokuu notices that the Dragon Ball Yajirobe has is not Four-Star Ball. Cymbal arrives on the scene and asks for a tiny ball with stars on it.
Episode #49 “Tambourine VS the Tenka’ichi Warriors”:
Covers Chapters: #139-141
Part A: Yajirobe kills and eats Cymbal. Meanwhile. Tambourine is killing the names of those on the Tenka’ichi Budoukai roster.

Gokuu has no trouble fighting or even tossing Piccolo around. To save God, Gokuu tricks Piccolo into growing even larger. Leaping into Piccolo’s mouth, Gokuu searches Piccolo’s body for the body that God is sealed in and tosses it to Tenshinhan. With God free Gokuu can fight Piccolo with no worries.
Part B: Son Gokuu and Piccolo continue to tear through one another with ki blasts and power-packed martial arts. Piccolo turns the island into a wasteland, but Gokuu withstands the blast with vigor to spare. Finally, Piccolo catches Gokuu off-guard and deals him a ki blast through the chest.

Part B: Nappa attacks, chopping off one of Tenshinhan’s arms. Chaozu uses a self-destruct technique to try and kill Nappa, but it fails.

Part A: Horrified by Chaozu’s sacrifice, Tenshinhan unleashes a mighty Kikou-Hou. The blast only damages Nappa’s armor. With the last of his strength spent, Tenshinhan dies. Kuririn begs Son Gokuu to hurry up and return.
Part B: Vegeta offers three hours to wait for ‘Son Gokuu’ to show up. With a moment to spare, Kuririn mourns his fallen friends. Gokuu doesn’t return before the three hour deadline, so Piccolo, Kuririn, and Gohan devise an attack. When they attempt to launch this attack, however, Nappa easily knocks Piccolo unconscious.

Blooma calls the Muten Roushi to warn Gokuu of what is happening on Namek.
Part B: Son Gokuu learns of the events on Namek just in time to acquire a bag of Senzu. With his health returned to him, Gokuu sets off for Capsule Corp. Meanwhile, Vegeta does battle with and kills Kewi, showing that his battle power has risen from 18,000 to 22,000.

Part A: Son Gokuu arrives at Capsule Corp where Doctor Brief shows him the new spaceship he created based off of the Attack Ball Gokuu came to Earth in as a child. This spaceship has a gravity machine that will allow Gokuu to train under conditions of high gravity, just like on Kaiou’s world. Now Gokuu can train at 100G if he so chooses! Gokuu sets off for Namek!
Part B: Kuririn and Son Gohan follow Freeza to a settlement of Namekians. Freeza asks for the Dragon Ball, but the Elder refuses. Three young Namekians arrive on the scene to help ward off the foes. The Namekians prove too mighty for Freeza’s regular soldiers, but his right-hand men Dodoria and Zarbon have no trouble with the young ones. Meanwhile, the Elder destroys the scouters, having realized Freeza and his men have been using them to locate his people. Dodoria, enraged by this swears revenge.

Vegeta spots Kuririn flying back at full speed with the One-Star Ball. Vegeta follows Kuririn to their hideout only to be followed by Zarbon. A battle soon breaks out between the two.
Part B: Vegeta kills Zarbon thanks to the massive increase in power he received from experiencing a near death experience in their previous battle. Vegeta takes Kuririn’s Dragon Ball and spares him, elated that he now has possession of all seven Dragon Balls.

Part A: Vegeta finds Gohan while on his way back to the location of the Four-Star Ball. Vegeta doesn’t notice that Gohan has acquired the ball and lets the boy off after playing mind games with him. Vegeta, after a spell of concentrating, catches Kuririn and Gohan’s ki and takes off after them.
Part B: Vegeta catches up to Kuririn and Gohan quickly. Kuririn tells Gohan to go on ahead while he buys time for him. Gohan has his power unleashed. Gohan and Nail ready to confront Vegeta but Vegeta’s tune quickly changes when he realizes the Gi’nyuu Tokusentai are about to arrive on Namek—likely with new scouters. An alliance is quickly formed and Gohan, Kuririn, and Vegeta quickly head back for the Four-Star Ball so as to make their wish on the Dragon Balls.

Part A: The Gi’nyuu Tokusentai arrive on Namek and receive their orders from Freeza. A battle breaks out, but Gi’nyuu can only raise his battle power to a paltry 23,000. Meanwhile, Vegeta begins to battle Jheese.

Part A: Vegeta kills Jheese and begins to beat up Gi’nyuu. The Commander decides to switch bodies with Vegeta, but Gokuu leaps in the away at the last second and returns to his body. When Gi’nyuu tries to Change one more time, Son Gokuu tosses a frog in the way of his beam and Gi’nyuu is effectively defeated.
Part B: Vegeta puts Gokuu into a medical chamber to heal. Vegeta says it should take about forty or fifty minutes to heal Kakarrot. Gohan and Kuririn receive battle jackets to help increase their defensive strength for the upcoming battle with Freeza. Vegeta goes to sleep during the wait while Dende appears with knowledge of how to make a wish.

Part A: Dende helps Kuririn and Son Gohan summon Piccolo back to life and on Planet Namek. Vegeta awakens in time to avoid the third wish being spent on anyone but him.
Part B: Vegeta is livid, but that is soon replaced by total fear when Polunga disappears and Dende confirms that the Grand Elder has passed away. Freeza arrives on the scene thoroughly enraged. Meanwhile, Piccolo comes across a badly wounded Nail.

Part A: Piccolo merges with Nail and becomes many times more powerful. Meanwhile, Freeza transforms into his second form. Using his horns, Freeza impales Kuririn.
Part B: Son Gohan is enraged by the sight of his friend impaled. Gohan attacks Freeza, but Freeza proves rather relentless. Freeza begins crushing Gohan’s head under his foot as the episode ends.

Part A: Kuririn saves Son Gohan with a Kienzan that cuts off Freeza’s tail. Kuririn acts as a decoy while Dende heals Gohan. Piccolo arrives on the scene before things get too out of hand and begins laying a beat-down on Freeza. It’s not long before Freeza catches up, however, and the two find themselves relatively even.
Part B: The battle between Piccolo and Freeza continues to heat up. Finally, Freeza decides to show Piccolo his third form. Freeza assumes a hideous third form and begins to blast Piccolo to shreds. Son Gohan flies off in a fury to save Piccolo while Vegeta tries to convince Kuririn to take him to the brink of death so Dende can heal him and help him increase his battle power to become a Super Saiyan.

Part A: Son Gohan manages to save Piccolo from certain death. Kuririn blasts Vegeta through the gut, but Dende refuses to heal a man who helped slaughter his people. Dende heals Piccolo while Freeza begins to assume his fourth and true form. Kuririn finally convinces Dende to heal Vegeta. Freeza finishes his transformation and kills Dende so that nobody can be revived anymore.
Part B: Piccolo, Kuririn, and Son Gohan attack Freeza in fury, but their attacks prove fruitless in the face of Freeza’s enormous power. Vegeta attacks Freeza, confident he is a Super Saiyan now, but finds he too is powerless in the face of such adversity. Freeza pounds on Vegeta, reducing him to a blubbering and bloody mess. Meanwhile, Son Gokuu finishes healing and heads towards the battlefield.

Part A: Son Gokuu arrives at the battlefield. Vegeta begs Kakarrot to make sure Freeza dies at the hand of a Saiyan with his dying breath. Son Gokuu buries Vegeta and readies to fight Freeza.
Part B: Son Gokuu and Freeza do battle, neither yet using their full strength.

Part A: Son Gokuu fights Freeza while using the ten-times Kaiou-ken, however using half his power alone Freeza easily outmatches Gokuu.
Part B: Son Gokuu uses a Kamehame-Ha powered by a twenty-times Kaiou-ken, but Freeza gets away from the blast with little more than a burned hand. Gokuu begins forming a giant Genki-dama.

Part A: Piccolo distracts Freeza while Son Gokuu forms the Genki-dama. Gokuu finally has enough genki to launch the ball at Freeza.
Part B: Everyone believes Freeza is finally dead, but that soon changes when Freeza reappears, shoots Piccolo in the chest, and kills Kuririn. Son Gokuu transforms into a Super Saiyan.

Part A: Son Gohan rushes a weak Piccolo back to Gokuu’s spaceship. Son Gokuu uses his new power to beat the stuffing out of Freeza.
Part B: Freeza decides to destroy Namek, but the amount of ki he used to blast the planet was too little to do so immediately. With five minutes until the planet’s core erupts, Gokuu decides to continue fighting Freeza.

Part A: Son Gokuu battles Freeza, who has powered up to one hundred percent of his full power. Meanwhile, Mister Popo summons Shen Long and restores the Grand Elder to life.
Part B: Dende asks the recently revived Polunga to teleport everyone but Son Gokuu and Freeza to Earth. With Namek ready to explode and only Son Gokuu and Freeza left remaining on the planet the death match is ready to reach its climax!

Part A: Son Gokuu and Freeza battle, but Gokuu soon decides to quit. Freeza is no longer fun to battle and he has had his fill of humiliating him. Freeza refuses to give up and go home and continues to attack Gokuu, but this leads to Freeza accidentally cutting himself in half with his own Kienzan technique.
Part B: Son Gokuu gives Freeza a piece of his ki to escape into space. Freeza repays Gokuu in kind by attacking him. Fed up, Gokuu blasts Freeza and pulverizes him. The battle is over at last.

Part A: Planet Namek explodes and Son Gokuu is thought dead. Time passes and the Namekians stay at Capsule Corp while waiting for Polunga to be ready for use again. Yamcha, Kuririn, Tenshinhan, and Chaozu are brought back to life and the Namekians head off for a new world. With Polunga having revealed that Son Gokuu is still alive everyone awaits the day he willing returns from his training in space.
Part B: Freeza is alive! Freeza and his father, the Great King Cold land on Earth to claim revenge. Meanwhile, a mysterious young man confronts Freeza alone…
