Re: where is Buu in Future Trunks timeline.?
The year Trunks originally came from when he came back and fought Freeza in the past was well beyond the year the Majin Buu stuff took place in the series timeline. There is a timeline of events from one of the guidebooks that mentions Dabura scanning earth in the distant past to see if there was anyone of significant power that might be used to revive Buu. It seems to me that he did another routine scan, not in much detail, and found no one strong enough to use to revive Buu, and therefore waited off for another century or however long he goes between scans. Remember the androids do not give off ki signatures, and if no one (ie Trunks or Gohan) was in a Super Saiyan state when he scanned the planet, he wouldn't pick up anything significant to give a second look at. In the main series timeline, someone (likely Vegeta or Gohan, but could have been anyone in a powered up state when he scanned) that seemed to have a significant kiri scan reading must have grabbed his attention, so he reported back to Babidi, and they made their move, hence also getting the attention of East Kaioshin by extension.
"Of" =/= "Have"
Contractions:
-Should have = Should've
-Could have = Could've
-Would have = Would've
The heck does "should of" even mean anyway? Think about what those two words mean individually, and then try to read them back to back in a sentence and make sense of it. Are you forming a prepositional phrase, is "should" a part of a larger grouping, or are you just typing random words based on how you think you hear them used verbally? Perhaps take a moment to contemplate this, and see if it becomes as mind jarring for you to look at as it does for me..

Re: where is Buu in Future Trunks timeline.?
Most likely, either still buried on Earth somewhere or off in space with Babidi somewhere.
Up until this new enemy arrived, Trunks himself would've been the only significant fighter left alive on Earth... Cell too, depending on when Babidi came by to search for Buu. If even SSj2 Gohan (plus however many random humans Babidi drained before the tournament) wasn't enough to get halfway to the enough-to-revive-Buu point, Trunks alone isn't going to be anywhere near enough, and Trunks plus Imperfect Cell won't be much better. Assuming Trunks hasn't become drastically stronger than the last time we saw him, anyway. So if Babidi did come for Buu, he probably decided to take his ball to some other planet with more powerful warriors to drain rather than diddling around on Earth for years and years trying to sloooooowly gather enough power via minions draining ordinary humans (the way that Spopovich and Yamu were going to do before stumbling across Gohan.) No Budokai going on in Trunks' future, either, so they really would be just randomly going after normal humans rather than having any way to target possibly-stronger fighters.
There's also a chance that Babidi just didn't want to risk moving Buu's ball with the Android chaos going on -- too much of a shock (from the Androids' blasts when they inevitably decide to try using Babidi's ship as target practice, for example) could release Buu prematurely, after all, and Babidi wanted him at full power. So Buu could still be buried beneath the Earth like he'd been for the past few million years, while Babidi is off who-knows-where trying to find some more minions and waiting a few decades or centuries before checking back on Earth again to see if it's safe to get Buu's ball.
Either way, Buu is probably still in his ball somewhere.

Re: where is Buu in Future Trunks timeline.?
It was stated in one of the Daizenshuu that Babidi left the Earth with Buu's ball because there's no strong guys there for them to use to revive Buu. Babidi and Dabra went to Earth on Age 774, where Future Trunks was still a kid, and the only strong guys there are Future Gohan and the Androids. The Androids' ki can't be detected, and even it can, they're too weak. Same for Future Gohan, who is probably even weaker than Freeza at that point.

So do we know if Babidi and Dabra left Earth to try to gather energy on other planets to eventually return to Earth and to revive Buu? Or did they abandon the Buu plans?

The "no strong guys to revive Buu" bit is correct, but the daizenshuu don't say anything about Bibidi leaving Earth with Buu's ball.Khin wrote:It was stated in one of the Daizenshuu that Babidi left the Earth with Buu's ball because there's no strong guys there for them to use to revive Buu. Babidi and Dabra are probably somewhere in Trunks timeline. We did get Shin Budokai 2 with the idea of Buu in Trunks timeline, but most fans don't view that game as canon because Toriyama didn't seem like that he had no involvement in the story.

Arguably he could have taken care of Dabra in his timeline if he kept up his training. Coming from such a bleak future I would imagine that he is one of the only non-pure Saiyan's to actually continually put effort in. He would eventually rival Goku and Vegeta from the Boo arc.

I doubt Trunks knew about Babidi and Dabra. The chances are that they probably left the Planet by the time when Trunks came back. The only characters that are still probably still alive in Trunks timeline are Babidi, Dabra, Beerus, Whis, Bluma, Sorbet and his empire. Maybe Ginyu Frog, Mr. Satan, Pilaf and Shu are still alive. I remember Ox King, Chi Chi, Roshi, Puar and Oolong only show up in the Future Trunks anime and not in the manga. If you want to count GT and 13 Movie villains, Bebi, Broli, Metal Coola and Hoi are still out somewhere in Universe.Hitiro wrote:Arguably he could have taken care of Dabra in his timeline if he kept up his training. Black is the evil that influenced Kid Buu, dispelled.
"Dragon Ball once became a thing of the past to me, but after that, I got angry about the live action movie, re-wrote an entire movie script, and now I'm complaining about the quality of the new TV anime. It seems Dragon Ball has grown on me so much that I can't leave it alone." - Akira Toriyama on Dragon Ball Super
