Ah. Yeah I can see that.
Why not a new blue outfit for Vegeta at least then? Or if they're bringing back stuff, why not the tank-top from the Buu arc?
I still partly theorize that Gokû Black is wearing Vegeta's F armor underneath his light grey dougi; it's got that same high collar and similar color/sleeves.

Her hair has been blue for how long now? 30 years? They did it that way and that's it.

In Trunk's case you literally have his younger self with purple hair. I wonder what's the story behind the change. Maybe Toriyama said that he wants it blue or maybe it's to differenciate him from the kid one.

Her hair was a green to aqua-green in the Dragon Ball anime and purple in the manga. It didn't suddenly changed to blue until Battle of Gods. So it hasn't been blue for 30 years. It has been three years at the most, unless her hair was blue in the 2008 Special.

They wanted Trunks' hair to be blue, just like Bulma's hair is now blue.

Why are people so triggered by what color Trunks' hair is?

Something that's baffling me about Black Gokû's drawing here: Are those wavy lines poking out between his hair just an artifact of jpeg or are they a part of his body? They're the same color as his hair and one's poking Future Trunks in the shoulder and the other is poking regular Gokû in the hair.

Why are people so triggered by what color Trunks' hair is?

Personally, I don't care and find the whole thing silly. I am just pointing out that it is unlikely we will get an explanation for why his hair changed since Bulma's hair changed between media and no one cared from an explanation there. Heck, Trunks' hair in GT was a dark purple and there was no explanation in the series for it.

I'm reminded of the whole conversation about Gohan's hair in back when the F movie was coming out. There was so much talk about it.

I'm just interested in finding out more about Gokû Black and getting to read those NewType summaries.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of them ditching their old outfits. It makes us feel like we're going backwards in terms of story progression. I don't care if the old outfits are more recognisable. Super needs something to make it different from DBZ merchandise, and the new outfits together with SSB helped that. Neither of them wear their old outfits at EOZ, anyway, so it doesn't make a difference what they wear now.

It confuses me because Black Goku is the main villain and the threat but that thing holding Trunks up and what was also behind the flames couldn't be Goku surely because he's huge.

It looks like an Android.

I think it's either a minion of Gokû Black's or they're purposely drawing vague blobby things to obscure him.
