It's entirely possible she did reveal she was playing the part in the video, but the event was supposedly press only as the toy show doesn't start till the 11th from what I remember. So the number of people who know what was said likely isn't very big and there probably won't be a recording of it for evidence unless it gets replayed once the show opens to the public.

I don't think any of the press got loose lipped on Twitter either, as the big Heroes fans I follow who always go to these events retweet the content like crazy and there was nothing about the details of her message.

I think it's a lack of communication between companies. Some people are making color choices and others don't know these choices have been made.

The purple haired version was used in a lot of places in the last half a day, including the actual "booth" for the new game's display. I feel like the version that was updated on the Heroes website to be blue was done in response to an oh shit moment where they didn't check in with what Toei was doing, and then someone quickly took the file into photoshop and changed the hair color real quick to replace it

I guess the being in the shadows is likely Black and he probably takes over Goku's body similar to Bebi. I think it would be rather lame if he does take over Goku's body since I'm not a fan of rehashes.

So if Toriyama started constructing this arc a year ago, and we first got wind of Super in April 2015, how long do we think he worked on the Universe 6 arc? The fact that they retold the movies more or less tells us the planning stages moved quickly. Probably the same amount of time?

The Heroes art made it look like Gokû Black and regular Gokû co-exist; but it is Heroes after all.

I hope it's not something that takes over Gokû's body either; Garlic Jr, Babidi, and Bebi have all been there done that already with other characters.

Ok finally cought up.

The new promo was great, I really like Black Goku's design, similer to Gokus but different enough to make him stand apart. The red sash is ok since they havent abused red like fan art has.

I find his ki blasts very interesting, they have a black colouring to them which is not something you see with ki attack very often or at least not in any basic attacks I can think of.

Also people talk about what his earings could mean well has anyone noticed he only has one on his left ear not a set?

I don't think it's a possession since Toriyama claimed that you can guess how Black Goku is like based on his name. If it was a possession like Baby, then Baby would be the character, not Goku himself, much like how Baby Vegeta was just Baby in Vegeta's body and nothing of Vegeta was there. I can see a possible corruption where Goku's personality is left mostly intact, but an outright possession seems to destroy the point of Toriyama's statement.

The one thing that bugs me about this upcoming arc compared to the Android arc is that in the latter, Goku, Trunks, and Frieza were the strongest in the universe. Trunks manhandling Frieza was a showcase of his power...yet, he arrived to the present to tell everyone of a threat he could not handle. That automatically gave you a sense of dread.

Here, it is very, very, VERY likely Trunks is only as strong as he was when we last saw him, meaning he's fodder at this point. Unless this Black guy is stronger than a SSJB, Beerus, and Whis, he's not much of a threat.

This leads me to believe Black won't be a physical threat, but may somehow distort time and space, or possess other characters.

Like someone said earlier it looks retarded, maybe it's the picture, but I hope Black Goku to be something more than just another evil guy who wears black and laughs evilly, for god's sake.

Trunks was shown crying in the preview, I'd say Bulma gets killed by whoever it is. In fact that could be Bulma that is being held up by the neck.

That's kinda sad, but what a nice introduction to the Arc it would be, I hope we see an Enraged SSJ2 Mirai Trunks vs. Black Goku, that would be great.

I'm just putting it out as a possibility, going off what Kei17 said. Even if he was struggling with the script for such reasons, I doubt he'd comment on it when Super has had enough problems. It's one thing to badmouth the animation of the show you're providing the story and designs for, but another thing entirely to suggest your part in the production maaaaay contribute to the problem this time.

I don't get it, so was Toriyama convinced to continue with DBS productions? What was the reason for he to being pissed anyway?

Gojitaaf has confirmed Mosako Nozawa is indeed voicing Goku Black: Tullece returns lol.

Not that I doubt she'll be playing Goku Black, but I don't think he's confirmed anything? That screenshot was from a news article that i don't believe mentioned anything about who she was voicing in the studio, and only the press at the Super Heroes reveal event would know what the message said as far as I know.

Indeed, the article mentions nothing about Nozawa playing Black.

Black doesn't seem to be a Saiyajin so that excludes an actual evil Goku.
