Ah. Thanky. I thought people were referring to Daizenshuu 7's timeline. I was like "Uh, nooo...Daizenshuu cover up to end of Z ONLY."

Must've been a mistake then. In GT you see Bra driving and there's that scene where the two guys start flirting with her.

Seriously. If five years went by, wouldn't that make the bulma-cloned skank 8 years old?

Something like that. And Pan wouldn't be much older... of course she already looks a good deal younger than Bra, even though, I think, they're supposed to be the same age. Or at least close to it.

Yeah but that makes sense.

- Gohan started out 4 years old at the start of DBZ.
- He then spends 11 months training with Piccolo, making him 5 years old
In the time between Yamcha being brought back to life and Tenshinhan and Chouzu reterning he turns 6.
- A year passes between the and Trunks' arrival, making him 7.
- He spends 3 years preparing for the Androids with Goku and Piccolo, making him 10.
- One year spent in the Room of Spirit and Time, which makes him 11. Despite it being 10 years since he was born.

He knows that he was 11, SSJHitch. He's saying that he looks a lot older... which is true. Thanks for refreshing our memories with that, though (at least MY memory).

I showed it to a friend of mine who isn't an anime fan but likes DB, yet she hasn't read it for a while and didn't even know of the Manga getting a re-release.

She thought it was ok, but there's wasn't a whole lot of difference to her or something.

If you read the Japanese version, it`s the same phrase he`s said a hundred times before, even the "HMPH"

Consider this too. Toriyama has now ended one of the most recent influential manga of all time with a Japanese

"HMPH!"

Which is why I really think Toriyama doesn`t take it or himself quite seriously, but he does have a place in his heart for the old work, which is why he tied it up so nicely this time.

Note: I said "square one" not "kill". Suddenly it became kill、I`m not quite sure how, but regardless, square one is simply Vegeta`s pride bullcrap. We get him a few pages earlier admitting that Goku is the best, etc. etc. And then it goes right back to where it was.

If you want to know the truth, the complaint among Japanese fans about DB is that nothing ever changes. Unlike piss-ant American manga "fans", that doesn`t mean they hate the series, it just means that they respect and realize other series tell a more realistic story.

I'd take it as Vegeta admitting that Goku is currently the best fighter, but that doesn't mean that he won't stop trying to become better than him.

An average baseball player can admit that Ty Cobb is the better man. It doesn't mean he can't aim for a superior record.

Early Vegeta though would never admit that Ty Cobb is a better baseball player than him though. Or something. The fact that Vegeta-at-the-end-of-the-series can, shows that he's grown, while keeping his pride.

Come on, at least use Yamucha. He plays baseball.

Wait, er, no. I say we kill Coby Ty or whatever you call him, and forget about Baseball metaphors.

Exactly. I thought the new ending demonstrated Vegeta's character progression quite nicely.

Thank god, since I have no idea what I'm talking about. Stupid made-up-because-they're-rubbish-at-sports-everyone-else-plays-US-sport that it is.

Yes, we don't pay much attention to croquet and polo.

Croquet isn't exactly a widely followed "sport" in England. You would have been better off saying rugby or cricket.
