Pre/Post Battle Quotes(throughout the years, your favorites)

What were your favorite quotes in the video game series throughout the years. How were the quotes throughout the years, did they improve or not? Shoutout to Janemba8000 for this, because I found a couple of his quote collection vids in my youtube mentions.

How in BT3 Pan says something along the lines of, "I'm not gonna hold back! Even for you, Grandpa!" to SSJ4 Goku and Goku replies with a serious tone, "You sure do talk a lot."

Not sure anything beats SSJG/B Goku and Broly. Just hearing Goku smack talk Broly and say he's at a level Broly will never reach is just an awesome slap to the Broly wanking. He's in a world Broly will never know.

I don't remember the exact wording or which game it was in (I want to say Budokai Tenkaichi 3 though), but I remember one that had a really adorable, almost flirty, exchange between Kuririn and 18.

Wait, Xenoverse actually had these? I thought all it had was the in-battle banter that would pop up.

So many quotes that I like, actually I pay too much attention to this matter when it comes to Dragon Ball games. I think Budokai Tenkaichi games and Xenoverse are sources of awesome quotes. I just hope XV2 improve that.

Tenkaichi 3 and XV are definitely my favorites. RB2 is good too, but i don't like the fact that a lot of the forms of characters say the same exact thing(with just a different tone). For my favorites though

XV
- All the dialogue between GT and BoG characters(SSJ4 Gogeta VS Beerus, SS4 Vegeta VS Beerus, Whis VS SS4 Goku)

-Ice Shenron VS All the Buus(Ice calls them by Majin, Super Buu, And Kid buu)

- SSJ2 Goku VS Cell

- All the dialogue between Vegeta and Gohan(from cell saga to even buu saga)


Tenkaichi 3:

-Pikkon VS Frieza

-Vegeta VS Spopovitch

-Super 17 VS Super Perfect Cell

-Yajirobe VS General Blue

-Gotenks VS Goku or Vegeta

Nothing will top Jeice call you a "wanker" in Tenkaichi 1. Funny thing about that is that "wanker" is cut out in Tenkaichi 2 and Tenkaichi 3 but you can still her Jeice say a residual "w" sound at the end of the statement.

Anyways, I find the quotes towards the Human race in Xenoverse to be funny, but crazy at the same time, due to most characters mocking them, especially Burter saying "Time for spring cleaning" and Gogeta saying "I'm warning you, you'll die!"(now THAT sounds somewhat scary ). https://youtu.be/9bHHDyXHHxI

Cell and Super 17, really loved their intro quotes from Budokai Tenkaichi and Xenoverse

My personal favorite is with the frieza race and namek race. Damn near everyone hates you with the frieza race, while you are called insect or bug as a namekian.
And kid trunks says that all nameks look the same, and gotenks mentions "my best friend is namekian"


There are some other quotes too, that aren't really "pre battle quotes", but still interesting dialogue none the less. For the PC version, if you change vegito's moveset and add in ssj2, Vegito says " I guess i'm super vegito 2 now".

Vegito and gogeta also have soundfiles for kaioken(up to Kaiokenx3) , solar flare, and some others. Might upload some of em in the future

Thats legit. The vid above is from another user, but i tested it myself when changing vegitos moveset and can confirm he says it.

Anyone who has the pc version and knows how to change movesets (very easy, especially with the moveset tool for the roster) can pretty much confirm the same thing too.

RB2 and XV1 had a lot of cool battle quotes with each other. I like how Cell finally interacts with #13-#15 and Perfect Cell mocks Super #13 for his perfect form if he wins the fight.

In BT3, if you use Great Ape Baby Vegeta against certain characters, he'll say "It's time for this monkey to spank you!"
