Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Wait. When the Gods use that technique, they don't have to put their finger on their head.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
The technique doesn't require the user to put his fingers on his forehead. Goku teleported while charging a Kamehameha in the Cell games. His hands were doing the Kamehameha form. Putting the fingers on the forehead just helps, presumably with concentration, and there's no reason for that to not also help with the gods' technique.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
The fingers help focus, i.e. when Goku is trying to teleport away from Buu's earth-destroying ball and is trying really hard to concentrate. The art shows him straining with the finger-pose, but still can't find focus. Same with when he's trying to find Dende and the Nameks, he does the finger-pose to help concentrate.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Black Goku was also shown doing the finger pose to search for Future Trunks' ki signature, so yeah.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Huh, I forgot she could do that.
I don't usually complain about Bra. I believe the story is setting her up for legitimate character development and I don't mind her arrogance too much. But giving her a move that's usually reserved for gods? That might be showing her a little too much favoritism.
I'm warming up to Cold's form more as time goes on. The second pair of arms still add nothing of value to the design, but the rest of it looks suitably imposing. Arguably, its bulk is giving Asura a challenge drawing the fight choreography, especially when speed is involved, but he (or is it she?) has done a good job so far.

Bra might pull a clutch, but I'd still like her to lose.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Meh...I kinda want her to go SSJ2 again before that happens. At least we know where her arrogance comes from.
As for Cold's form, guess I was wrong with the speed reduction. Still, that form must at least be eating up his ki supplies/stamina quickly. No way a form that powerful would use less stamina/ki than 100% Power.

I think Cold's form is supposed to be the SS2 equivalent for the frost demons those alien Freeza type dudes. Imagine how ridiculous the equivalent of SS3 will look! At this rate, you know it's coming.

It's supposed to be an exagerated version of their third form, just like the fifth form was basically an exaggerated version of the second form.Regarder wrote:I think Cold's form is supposed to be the SS2 equivalent for the frost demons those alien Freeza type dudes. Golden Freeza was pretty much a SSj3 equivalent (complete with rapid energy drain), though since DBM isn't using any stuff from Super or the new movies I suppose an alternate "ultimate" form for Freeza's race is still a possibility.I think Cold's form is supposed to be the SS2 equivalent for the frost demons those alien Freeza type dudes. Fuck it, I'm just going to go out and say that I like Cold's new form unironically. And I don't know why.

Your version of Cold's transformation is better ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)Scarz wrote:Fuck it, I'm just going to go out and say that I like Cold's new form unironically. And I don't know why.
Spoiler:
Dragon Ball was always a kid series and fans should stop being in denial.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I feel as though Cold is aware that merely tracking those ki blasts won't work, but has another trick of his.... whatever those are.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
So if all of the transformations beyond true form are over the top exaggerations of the suppressed states does that mean the next transformation would make him tiny? Like microscopic?rereboy wrote:Because being over the top can be awesome too.Scarz wrote:Fuck it, I'm just going to go out and say that I like Cold's new form unironically.
