I don't understand the complaints about Future trunks in Super. People calling him a pansy make no sense.

Why would Future Trunks be getting hate? I haven't seen any.

You'd be surprised. Not here but on YouTube and instagram it's crazy. Some people are saying he's a wuss or sucks compared to his DBZ self... when he's exactly the same character. It's like they expect him to destroy black like he did with Freeza or the Android but don't realize there wouldn't be an arc in that case.

Exactly. I hate the fans who expect the characters to always be absolute bad asses. They have weak moments and they're better for it.

Mah, Youtube is the place where dbs receives more hate, even when an episode or something is well done, people bash it, and i'm not talking about valid criticism, no, I'm talking about the typical guy that watches ep 47, call it "bad animation" and then compare it to a shot from a dbz movie implying that he/she, is complaining about art and not animation.

Trunks is a bad ass character, he has great moments. Thats what you get if you have Vegeta's blood mixed with Bulma's blood.

I wonder if Goku will use Kaiou-ken again. I know it was probably a Toei addition when Goku used it in the previous arc, but it would be quite stupid if Goku wouldn’t use it in times of desperate situations in this arc or in the future arcs.

I'm pretty sure king Kai specifically told him not to do it again in 43. Too lazy to check though.

Kaio also told Goku not to go beyond regular Kaiou-ken back in the Saiyan Arc, but Goku still used x3 and x4 because he had no other choice otherwise he would get destroyed, along with the Earth. If this happens again, like Black becoming so much stronger than Goku that even Super Saiyan Blue wouldn't do any good, wouldn't it be extremely stupid for him not to use even just a regular Kaiou-ken ?

Ok but why in Trunks timeline? I know he can go there because of the Time Ring but why Trunks timeline. Humanity is everywhere not only in the timeline of Trunks (Universe 7). The only reason could be that Goku died in that Timeline.

And btw Black knew about Vegeta. Zam hasn't met Vegeta (yet). So if Zam steals Goku's body in Trunks timeline, in a timeline where Vegeta is dead, how did he know Vegeta. Either Black isn't related at all with Zam or by stealing Goku's body he knows Goku's personal stuff (like Vegeta and the wannabe kamehameha wave)

Exactly. We don't know where Zamasu is going yet, or why he'd go to the FUTURE of Universe 7. I'm hoping we get a slow process of piecing this together instead of a huge revelation all at once.

Lol that's funny. I think it's because in the minds of casual DBZ fans they remember the Future Trunks that made the badass entrance on Earth by giving his enemies the death stare, casually stroking his hair and smirking while he took out Freeza & King Cold with ease.

But you're right, he hasn't changed personality-wise. The people on Youtube and Instagram that bash characters with no real justification just do it for nostalgic purposes. Those are the people that never watched the original Dragonball but have seen the Bruce Falcouner DBZ, and watched the first Broly movie 10 times.

Agreed on all accounts. Obviously from my name I loved it buthe writers really wrote themselves into a hole where it looks dumb if he didn't use it.

I posted a theory a while back saying it would be kind of cool if Goku didlose his power by using the move and had to work to regain it somehow while other characters dealt with a serious threat. Create some drama.

Trunks is fine, but He'd better fight again this arc or else he actually will look lame. The arc is named after him after all, so it only makes sense to get a chance to actually see him in action more.

It would also be a nice callback to the Delayed Onset Ki Disorder.

Gowasu having rings to each timeline makes me think most of the gods are main-timeline specific. Omni-King, Beerus, Whis, etc. Regular Kai exist in each because Supreme Kai helped Trunks vs Dabura. (Unless it was secretly Zamasu).
Would make sense why Zamasu would start with an alt timeline, no gods to get in his way. Also would make sense why everyone keeps talking about the consequences of time travel. They would see creating godless world's as a horrible consequence.
Curious to me Whis/Beerus were interested enough in Black to go to Uni10, but refuse to go to the future even to watch the fight. I don't think they're allowed.
I hope Zamasu starting in Uni 7 is because Goku's a moron and told him he'd wreck all the uni 7 Kai.

I mean...maybe? But that card is like a month old. Granted it can only be obtained recently, but it was announced forever ago. Really though, Heroes takes a lot of liberties with card art. So chances could be that it's just to look cool.

I'm too used to Dokkan Battle as seeing SSR Black makes me think of that game. SSJR is going to be what I use lol
