In the scan that shows Broly (and his name), it looks like they give a proper name to the state. Can somebody translate it?

I think it would translate as in "Heinous Mode" or something close.
I don't know if it is worth mentioning, but they refer to Majin Vegeta as "Prince of Destruction Vegeta".

EDIT: They also say in Broly's description that he's the fighter recognised by everyone as having the highest power in the world.

That term for Vegeta has been used before in the past. It's not anything new, though interesting to see return.

Yeah, both Goku and Vegeta sense Broly while fighting Kid Buu. Goku and Supream Kai state that the power is more monsterous then Kid Buu, Goku takes off to fight Broly leaving Vegeta to finish off Kid Buu, aknoledging that Broly is a bigger threat. And in this Second Comming hasn't happened. Yeah, it's a what if, but it's still stupid.

On the topic of DIMPS appearing to not have much to show for the game (and being weirdly over negative about it), we do have to keep in mind that the first Xenoverse had a huge content leak after its network test came out. DIMPS themselves never really showed a generous amount of characters and features before release, kinda like what they're doing with this game.

It seems like we have been spoiled with how things went down for the first game. Now that there hasn't been a network test many months before the official release there really isn't much to digest in terms of content. In fact, I actually LIKE that they're not showing so much of the games story because I want to jump in fresh! I want to be surprised with what characters and stages are in the game. Show us how improved the CaC systems are tho. It's our best interest to just relax and understand how the reveal schedule is this time around.

Though... I am very disappointed we're not getting a Gamescom trailer. (I'd like to be wrong.)

And yeah, the whole Broly power wank gets way out of control in the games. But I can see why. His whole 'character' revovles around being powerful, if he isn't the most powerful mother fucker in the room, what is he then? Nothing.

This is how I feel too. We've gotten so spoiled with spoilers...lol. Maybe most of you aren't old enough to remember the time where you found out about characters and info about the game AFTER it came out. I like going into a game not absolutely knowing everything. I like to be surprissedan and discover new things. Think about it, imagine how excited you'll be when a character you didn't think was on the game joins a battle? We know everything about the game soon enough.

As much as I get annoyed at the hate Broly gets, cuz people fail to realize what made him stand out as a non-cannon villain, the small backlash he's getting now is justified. "Highest power in the world"? Power wanking at its finest for a character that has been proven to be outclassed constantly. I do hope the regular one is a secret boss, cuz one of things I like about Broly is that he has this secret boss vibe, along with Cooler. Man "Heinous" Broly sure looks powerful as hell.

I'm a proud Broly fanboy, but at least I'm aware of his strength.

Plus, he's been in most games too, especially in ones that had nothing to do with his story, yet people don't give him flak? He's only canon when he got eviscerated by a meteor, that's it!

I can agree with you that rise in Bardock's power has been well I don't have a word for it but it is just worse. I think what makes it so bad about Broly is the fact that his back story really sucks on why he hates Goku. I feel like if he were to have been made a canon villain the hate for him wouldn't be so much if he was more fleshed out cause his character and design is badass. I just hope they use him in the game better than they did for XV1 and that the movie 8 stage is in as well.

There can be a possibility that the Future Warrior was powerful in his/her own right at that moment. Hell, I wonder how many people will be mad if Bardock went toe-to-toe with a saiyan Future Warrior went who SS3 without any fear or effort.

Broly is overrated as fuck in games. No one denies this. Bardock gets super wanked even in actual animated material. I said it before and I'll say it again. Broly is the most overrated of all time. Bardock is the most overrated currently. Hell the story apparently is going to have Bardock play a part to make him an even more special snowflake, when the whole point about him was to fail no matter what he does, and not be a footnote in history.

The only thing is worse, is merely hate for the character, not the actual lunacy.
