It's pretty much a blink and you'll miss it moment.
Whereas a lot of other sort of climatic moments in fights are more of a spectacle to view.
But I get what the point they'd were trying to make with it. That he himself was his own undoing and it wasn't a mighty attack that brought him down.
So I have conflicted feelings about it

Tough call, wasn't a fan of GT and there was plenty of episodes I really didn't like but since I haven't watched any in a really really long time I can't say for sure. Or it could be one of the early Super episodes where they were re-telling what happened in BoG and RoF. For Super I would say it was probably one of the Goku vs Beerus episodes since I found the fight very dragged out and much worse than the movie, also found the whole thing redundant.

It was supposed to be sudden, but it's clear what happened and this is the first time I've heard anyone have any problem registering what happened.Krillin1994 wrote:It's pretty much a blink and you'll miss it moment.

Not in registering it, I mean in the sense that for what is a big moment of the fight they don't put much emphasis on it.
But I said I get why they did it that way.

I legit think it was a perfect choice and that lingering on Freeza being hit by his own attack any longer would have been overly dramatic. He meets an understated, ignominious end.Krillin1994 wrote:I think it happens too fast, but then again I get that it kind of has to happen fast I.e there's no reaction time.

Having him predict Goku's strategy before falling prey to it (when Goku no longer wants him to, no less) similarly undercuts a moment that would gain nothing from overplaying itself.
Less was definitely more here. Toriyama really got that scene right. The anime muddled things up by having Goku beat on Freeza mid-air a bit longer, but mercifully they rendered the actual moment of his being hit by the disc appropriately quick and unexpected, when they could have Super-Beerus-Bulma-slapped it.
WHICH BY THE WAY THAT IS MY LEAST FAVORITE EPISODE

He didn't have that issue, he was just confused as to why there was "A weird Purple Vegeta" and a "See through Vegeta".Dbzfan94 wrote:

There's a lot of super-moron Goku moment that I hate but this one is the first that comes to mind.

They did register it. Is the only way to register to show it in slowmo? You'd have to be blind to miss that moment, and they absolutely do put emphasis on it and the aftermath.Krillin1994 wrote:Not in registering it, I mean in the sense that for what is a big moment of the fight they don't put much emphasis on it.

Dragon Ball: Master Thief Hasky Filler Saga
Dragon Ball Z: Fake Namek Filler
Dragon Ball GT: Black Star Dragon Ball Saga
Dragon Ball Super: (Gonna get hate) Ressurection F' Saga - I skipped the whole thing, for some reason I just couldn't watch it. I only watched the First episode, Ginyu returns and final episode where Whis reverses time and Goku defeats Frieza for good.

They put emphasis on the aftermath but the impact itself is very rapid, which I've said I can see why they chose to do it that way. I just would have preferred a slow mo of it.ABED wrote:They did register it. Is the only way to register to show it in slowmo? The issue is that was pretty much a pedophile and I don't like him, that's whyABED wrote:Not an episode, but my least favorite of all of GT is the TV special. It's too mundane and un-Dragon Ball and just really boring.
He's a bad guy, so what's the issue?I say the parts with Dolltaki. He was legit a creep. Glad Rildo blew his head off lol

But aren't we supposed to not like them? They're bad guys. The only difference was Dolltaki was an especially creepy one. I don't like him either.ABED wrote:He's a BAD GUY! Bad guys do vile and evil things. I always find it odd when people don't like evil characters for doing bad things.

Are you agreeing with me or not? I'm confused. Yes, we're not supposed to like bad guys. If he's creepy, that's a great trait for a bad guy. Dolltaki is fine for what he's supposed to be, a lackey.Bansho64 wrote:But aren't we supposed to not like them? They're bad guys. The only difference was Dolltaki was an especially creepy one. I'm disagreeing. I think it's fine if someone doesn't like a bad guy. I don't see what's so odd about it.ABED wrote: Are you agreeing with me or not? I'm confused. While that's true, i still don't like him. Period. There are villains I like but then there's him. I don't know why you always try to question someone's opinion if they disagree with you.ABED wrote:He's a BAD GUY! Bad guys do vile and evil things. Re: Least favorite episode in the whole anime franchise?
I'm trying to understand why. I've read opinions that amounted to, "I don't like this bad guy because they did something evil." Dislike Dolltaki all you want, but I don't see why a villain doing villainous things makes them terrible.

I really didn't like the early episodes with Videl. She seemed kinda rude to me and I didn't like her at first. She just seemed obsessed with Gohan and rude to him to me. When I found out she was gonna train with Gohan and Goten, I wasn't too happy about it. I did like it when she sort of warmed up to him but I would've liked more episodes of Gohan and Goten bonding and training together. I also wasn't a fan of the very last episode of Z. I didn't like Gokuu going off to train with Oob. And like Dbzfan49, I didn't like the episode(s) GT with Dolltaki.

Re: Least favorite episode in the whole anime franchise?
I think I might agree that the last episode of DBZ is my least favorite. There are episodes that are more boring, but final episodes are important and this one is a terrible final episode. As for Videl, I can see where you're coming from, but I like when characters make those sorts of changes where they might rub the audience the wrong way at first, but you come to like them. The Nard Dog from the US version of The Office is similar to that. Even Dwight is arguably in the same boat.Bansho64 wrote:I really didn't like the early episodes with Videl.
