Yes, I agree. It doesn't have go been GIRL written in pink and flashing neon lights every time she were to show up. The fact that she is, and she is powerful is the thing.Alruneia wrote:Sure. I don't see why not. Just as long as she is well written and developed as a villain.
Spoiler:
Re: Can our next arc villian be a woman?
It'd be cool if there was a female villian. I'd enjoy watching the overreactions about how "Dragonball has become so pussified!"
Re: Can our next arc villian be a woman?
It's also the series with android 18 in it. Bulma is the only female that's consistently sexualized.Marco Polo wrote:I think you have too much faith in Toriyama. I don't think that would happen. People seem to want more female characters and besides android 18 was badass enough.Nite_jay wrote:It'd be cool if there was a female villian. I'd enjoy watching the overreactions about how "Dragonball has become so pussified!"![]()
You couldn't possibly understand a person's character from a joke. Jokes aren't meant to be taken seriously. Thinking it's not funny is okay, but getting so offended over it is stupid imo. Unless his intent was strictly to offend, but I doubt it.And it was a stupid joke, showcasing the character of a person in the first five posts of a topic.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

18 was badass for like two chapters as a duo with 17. This is how she's written nowadays:kinisking wrote:It's also the series with android 18 in it.
At the police station, Kuririn receives Bulma’s phone call. Returning home, he puts on his old Turtle School dōgi and asks No. 18 to shave his head. While she wants to join the fight, he asks her to stay home and protect Marron. Goku and Vegeta may be over at Beerus’ place, but at least they’ve still got Gohan and Boo, so things should be fine. He takes off (asking No. 18 to get dinner ready while he’s gone), and No. 18 admires him as he flies away.
Re: Can our next arc villian be a woman?
I think our best chance is a minion or Black taking over a woman's body. (Assuming Goku's look alike body isn't actually his)

Anyway, hopefully Pan grows up enough to fight soon so we can at least have a hero.

I want her in action in her GT appearance at the least. Really, I do. It would be so cool!Viewtiful Jess wrote:Hopefully Pan grows up enough to fight soon so we can at least have a hero.

Me too, but also I'd love a new design of her, or at least a different personality, I can't stand GT Pan.Anime Kitten wrote:I want her in action in her GT appearance at the least. Really, I do. I wouldn't mind a woman as a villain Just as long as she is an interesting & written well. If not a villain at least a female fighter in the next tournament would be nice.

Eh. Having a love for fighting doesn't mean she has to wear a gi, look at Vegeta. Plus there's no reason for her not to use casual-type clothes if she wanted to.ArchedThunder wrote:I'd rather she have a love for fighting and wear a gi.

I learned english listening to songs. So I don't know anything about. The day you had to learn play piano by just listening .mp3, you'll understand.

These types of posts seem very out of character compared to your more recent contributions over the past year; they're reminiscent of the posts that lead to your temporary ban all that time ago.
Taking that into consideration, consider this one last free reminder of what is and isn't acceptable on this forum. I know you're so much better than this.
Please re-review the forum rules and stick with the sensible posting style you've been demonstrating since your return, otherwise you'll likely find yourself without access to the site.

The 21st century, where even tiny jokes are completely blown out of proportion.
That said, Vados is already stronger than all the males in the cast. It'd be nice for a female villain, sure, but not needed.

As said in the post RIGHT above yours, it wasn't a joke. It was a shitty sexist jab. There's a clear difference between the two.Swifticuffs wrote:The 21st century, where even tiny jokes are completely blown out of proportion.
I remember when Vados was first shown a lot of people were hoping she'd be the next big villain. It would've been cool but I think a non God type of character would be better.Swifticuffs wrote:That said, Vados is already stronger than all the males in the cast. Dragon Ball /Z/GT/Super is a children's show and there's nothing wrong with that.
Re: Can our next arc villian be a woman?
Kaioushin are genderless. I do not have the guidebooks but you can ask Herms. One mentions her as female and a newer one just as "looking like a woman". Of course you can be male and still look like a woman but the entire point of that was that they are genderless. Maybe it is retconned by now though.Smilodon wrote:Chronoa is femaleMarco Polo wrote: Kai people are born from fruits on a magic tree, so technically they're asexual. And the West Kaioshin is also female

The 21st century, it was the 21st one. But seriously people, it was a dumb, little worthless post, I doubt Bullza hates woman.ArchedThunder wrote:The 21st century, where women still aren't treated as equal to men.Swifticuffs wrote:The 21st century, where even tiny jokes are completely blown out of proportion.
