(Sans Budokai 3)Like, I don't hate any of them, but I just think they all are just okay. I understand the appeal of them, but when I hear "no dey r rly guid games bro" I just kinda laugh.

You're not, since this is all subjective.

I don't really see the issue here. It's fine if you haven't liked any of the video games. Not every game can be every person's cup of tea, and statistically speaking, with the way they create these games there's going to be more than a few of you who end up not liking any of them.
I get that there's this overwhelming desire to "fit in" and be part of the zeitgeist when these games come out, but if you don't enjoy them, you're far better off doing something with your time that brings you happiness!

Of course not! What ever gave you that idea man? You like what you like. And that's all that matters. I don't like a lot of the DB video games either. You having your own preference for games is perfectly fine. Don't ever let anyone tell you you're a bad person just because you don't like a couple of video games.

Not liking video games from the modern era does not make you a bad person, but being anything like Frieza does.

No but you're missing out on some good games.

I haven't liked that many DB games since Burst Limit. In terms of console games, that is.

Yes, you're a bad person. I CALL FOR THE DEATH PENALTY!

Yeah, DB games hit a rough patch with the HD consoles (though XV has a lot of potential) but the PS2 and handheld games were really on point during the early/mid 2000's (Sagas, the first Legacy of Goku, and Taiketsu were the only bad ones).Bansho64 wrote:Eh, it's been a hit or miss for me.DBZAOTA482 wrote:No but you're missing out on some good games.![]()

Re: I don't like any DB game since the SNES era, I'm a bad person ?
Frankly, most of the games aren't really good. Budokai 3 was fun, I did enjoy a hell of Sparking! Meteor mostly because of fan service, but I did play the s**t out of Super Butouden 2 and 3.
After Sparking! Meteor, only games I bought were Raging Blast 2 (because of Hatchihyakku, Tarble and some new characters) and Xenoverse.
After finishing the main story or main objectives, I do collect few things and then I am done and don't return for replay. But yeah, I had some fun with those games when I was playing them.
But I would probably play them a lot less, if I wasn't hooked up on the Trophy system on 360 and PS4. These games are just cheap (in development) instant fun for fans of the franchise, but nothing else.
I enjoy challenging games like Guilty Gear and Mortal Kombat.

Re: I don't like any DB game since the SNES era, I'm a bad person ?
Yes. Yes you are a bad person. An awful, horrid human being. Every single DBZ game, especially following the Fourth Console Generation, is a unquestionably Michaelangelesque piece of art, and you sir, for thinking otherwise, ought to be ashamed of yourself. Ultimate Battle 22, Final Bout, Taiketsu, Sagas, Transformation, Ultimate Blast/Kinect? All what a DB game should be. Budokai having uncomfortably stilted animation? Nonsense. Sparking/BT series only having 6 characters reskinned ×150? Lies. You should really go see a shrink for having opinions. You're not supposed to have those.
All jokes aside, I see where you're coming from. Personally, I enjoy most DB games, but there are plenty of reasons I can give them for people not to like them. If you liked B3, though, as far as modern DB games, I'd recommend Super DBZ, Shin Budokai, Burst Limit, Infinite World and Ultimate Butôden. DB Advanced Adventure's lots of fun if you enjoy side-scrollers. Also, DBZ Attack of the Saiyans' a pretty solid old-school JRPG.
