How tall do you guys picture Piccolo than?

I have him listed as 6'05", which seems ideal given my nonsensical height arrangement I mentioned earlier.

Piccolo Daimao is a lot taller than Piccolo Jr, imo. I would put Piccolo Daimao at 8' 3" (250 cms) or 8' 10" (270 cms).

(Btw, even a height of 8' 10" (270 cms) is not impossible for a human, since the tallest human ever was 8' 11.1" (272 cms), so that height for Piccolo Daimao isn't that ridiculous).

I have Piccolo, at full height, at 7'2-7'4. I like this height because it makes him a foot taller than Tien, and about two heads taller than Goku, while also keeping him short enough to be smaller than the various versions of Buu, King Cold, Whis, Cell, and Piccolo Daimao himself.

If Saitama existed in Future Trunks' world and OHKO'd Black in the middle of one of his pretentious speeches, I could see Trunks taking the same exact role as Genos. Funny thought.

Anyone else find Goku challenging to write? He doesn't have much in the way of emotional intellect so it's hard to write any scene that expects him to not have his head up his own ass come off as OOC. Most of the time, I just kind of write him as dick whether it's intentionally or unintentionally.

You mean in fan fiction? I actually find him extremely interesting to write. The way he works emotionally is so special, since he's normally insensitive, but you also have the side of him that came out when Krillin died (both in the King Piccolo arc and when fighting Frieza). Angry Goku is so different from regular Goku that it's almost like he's a different person. Actually delving into that side of his personality makes him a fantastic character to write. Apart from that, Goku might be a challenge to use, but that's because when we write for Goku, we have to set up situations for his character to shine. In my own work, serious Goku appears more often than carefree Goku because of the nature of the stories. (The happier arcs are shorter.) That way, he doesn't appear to be even close to as dumb as he's been portrayed in some Super episodes. He's still supposed to be naïve and otherwise the same as ever, though.

I think fan fiction writing is thread-worthy, actually. "Fanfic Writing General". Not making it, though.

Yes, indeed it is. I wouldn't mind having a General Fanfiction Thread for general fanfic stuff, such as "Help me write X out of this situation" or "Ideas for the next plot" and stuff like that for us writers.

Kanzenshuu readers are most likely not the really bad writers. Coming here probably means you have a genuine interest in the franchise, which means you most likely also treat the characters with love in your work. You want to get the characters right. And that's what that thread would be about: Writing discussion and improvement. People could post what they think about writing something (like the above post), or they could post snippets from their work and ask what people thought without creating a new thread for it. That's why I think it is thread-worthy. It'd be a slow thread, sure, but we have plenty of those already.

Oh, a lot of is it absolutely horrendues. That's why I try to make my stuff as close to good as humanly possible

Non-thread worthy but I never EVER seen anyone talk about it.

What the fuck is up with Kami sama at the 23rd Budokai when he says, humans have taught him a way of defeating Piccolo without dying and then goes on to use the Mafu-Ba? You know....THE ATTACK THAT KILLS THE USER?!?!?!
