After seeing this, a friend of mine went to a Gamestop here in central NC to see if he could verify if its true.
Apparently, the guy that works there is also a friend of his and says it shows in his system as being available on Dec. 31.
Still all rumors and nothing official but it gives me hope. So for now, I'll just keep patiently waiting for the official word.
Nice! Too bad it's all the way in December, but at least we have XV2 until then. I'll probably have to wait until Christmas, though. Still, can't wait! Surprised it's rated T.

You won't regret it 3ds is a pretty nifty handheld and pretty underrated hell even the 2ds is pretty good too.
Man, I actually might do the 2DS, I didn't know it was just $80 bucks! The only reason I was gonna buy a 3ds was for this game, so no point in spending $200 when I can spend 80.

And, you can also get extreme butoden, and the DB,DBZ games for the OG DS

We'll have standards. We'll have quality control. We'll have better information. And I'm sure, people will naturally gravitate to it once there is some substance.
The best way to fix the giant cancer that is the DB Wiki is to provide an alternative for those who really want it. Even those who prefer dub names will wind up looking things up on the Kanzenshuu Wiki. Because sooner or later, they're going to need information they know they can trust.

Definitely, the 2DS is at an amazing price currently. I'll be honest I rarely used the 3D function on the 3DS which is why I've pre ordered the European exclusive Pokémon Sun and Moon 2DS apparently the screen is meant to better on 2DS's since it doesn't have the 3D function to worry about so we'll see just sucks we gotta wait till Feb for Fusions down here though /:

How are the games for OG DS? Never played them. Any good?
I am beyond happy that we're actually getting this over here. It's been way too long since I've actually gotten to play a good DB RPG. I'm just glad in general though that we're finally getting some Dragon Ball games with some actual effort to be different nowadays too - even for major fans, there's only so many times we can play through the same basic story again and again and again and aga- well you get my point.

Yeah, playing through the main story can be fun if the gameplay is good, but it gets tiring after so many times. I'm mostly looking forward to the character customization, though.
Oh, and glad to see you're back after such a long while!
The price tag has me wary if a physical release will be available. Aside from preference, the eShop on my 3DS is not consistently available. It's a miracle I managed to buy the digital releases I have.
I want to say Extreme Butoden was only about in that price range too, but I could be wrong.

I'm the same way, yeah. If the gameplay is good enough I'll manage it, but overall I just find my interest a lot more peaked nowadays by these games taking more of a chance and doing their own story (or at least their own spin on the existing story) than if they just copy out what the anime/manga versions had before.
And thanks! Kinda just lost interest in posting for a little bit there, but trying to poke my head back in more now.

I'm really excited they're actually bringing it over here, but what made Bamco change their minds about the localization? They're clearly rushing it out the door, so I highly doubt they have a lot of confidence that this game will sell. The game is geared towards younger audiences while in the west DB is marketed more towards teenagers, not to mention the last 3DS game sold like shit over here, yet despite all that they're still giving it a physical release. I remember Bamco got scared and made Jojo: Eyes of Heaven a digital-only release in the west, so what about Fusions has got them so confident in a localization? Are they just expecting Xenoverse 2's sales to cover the costs of their quick and cheap translation of Fusions?
