Will Cabba and Hit play a important role in the future??

I wouldn't say important role but I think they will be players in the future with a (relative) fair amount of screentime.

This thread is a bit precise with the characters, there are other new characters as well.

Hit probably won't be seen again until the tournament as he is too powerful.

I can't see any reason why Cabba would be unless they go to universe 6 but even then there needs to be a specific reason. I feel like in the tournamemt there might be a different Saiyan entering for team Universe 6 as there surely must be someone above him even though he is the first Super Saiyan in universe 6.

They will appear in the next tournament to show how much Goku has progressed, and will be outshined by the new baddies. Mark my words.

It's a shame because characters like Botamo and Magetta seem to have a lot of potential. They unfortunately come across as being gimmicky one-off subsidiary adversaries for the protagonists to swiftly contend with before getting to the main event, similar to Mummy-kun and Akkuman in Baba's tournament. Cabba and Hit received the most development, no doubt. There's a likely chance of them returning, provided Super continues to be successful and the arcs eventually come around to Universe 6 again. Both characters would have no personal incentive to get involved with the conflicts in Universe 7 because it doesn't impact them. It would have to be for the purpose of seeking out Goku and Vegeta that they travel there. Although who knows what Black and Zamasu intend to do once they massacre every living thing in Universe 7. They may very well go after the other universes.
