Nope! In fact, neither of them even played a role in this video game.Anime Kitten wrote:Hello hello! Doing well, are we?

Re: Guess That Quote V2 (Round 29)
Alright, 2nd free hint guys...none of the Japanese audio was dubbed over. All the TEXT was translated, but the voice clips weren't. So...
1) This was a game that was officially translated, localized, and released in stores in the West.
2) There are TWO people who say "OWARIDA!!" in this game, and they're both villains.
3) Frieza and Cell are not involved in the plot.
4) None of the voice clips were dubbed over.

Nope. That one had the actual speaking bits dubbed over; it was only the grunts and yells that were left untouched. The game I'm talking about had NONE of it's voice clips dubbed over!Anime Kitten wrote:Never played it, but was it Final Bout?

Re: Guess That Quote V2 (Round 29)
Ok, here's the semi-final hint: This game is NOT a fighting game; it is an entirely different genre from Final Bout, Budokai, Shin Budokai, Tenkaichi, and all those other ones. So...
1) This was a game that was officially translated, localized, and released in stores in the West.
2) There are TWO people who say "OWARIDA!!" in this game, and they're both villains.
3) Frieza and Cell are not involved in the plot.
4) None of the voice clips were dubbed over.
5) This game is NOT a fighting game. It is one that is in a completely different genre from the likes of Budokai, Shin Budokai, Final Bout, and etc.

Ugh, I have no clue... All of the games I've played are fighting ones, and the other ones don't have voices.
Unless it happens to be GT Transformation?

Re: Guess That Quote V2 (Round 29)
Good guess, but the answer is no; I'll give one last hint though. Both of these villains are saiyans. So, if no one can answer even then, I'll just reveal where the quote is from. In the meantime...Anime Kitten wrote:Ugh, I have no clue... All of the games I've played are fighting ones, and the other ones don't have voices.

Raditz and Nappa seems too obvious, but I'll guess anyway. I have one more guess after this, though.

Re: Guess That Quote V2 (Round 29)
You're right! One of them WAS Raditz! More specifically, Raditz and Vegeta both yelled this during one of their attacks in the RPG known as "Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans"!
Raditz (when performing the 2x Energy Blast)
Vegeta (when performing the "Zrahh!" attack)
Vegeta (when performing the Galick Gun)
So, how did you all like that? I was trying to go for something hard, yet fair at the same time, and I had assumed that more people played this game. Did I succeed, or was this too difficult a question?

Re: Guess That Quote V2 (Round 30)
Too difficult for me not having played the game, but obscure is encouraged! I guess I'll give myself +1 since I got basically nothing... Anyway, I'll pass the Round to Fion (if I can call you that) because I'm off. Night!

Reading these quotes out of context with all the grunts and yells spelled out makes me laugh.

Oh! It was from the Game After Life. I don't know the episode number, but it was one of two characters. Was it Sugoro, if I'm getting that night?

Nope. The person who said this was even less relevant than those two, actually.Anime Kitten wrote:Oh! It was from the Game After Life. I don't know the episode number, but it was one of two characters. Was it Sugoro, if I'm getting that night?

Re: Guess That Quote V2 (Round 30)
The other one I was thinking was the announcer (or one of them), after they found out Sugoro was cheating by using dice. This was probably better suited for my first guess, but owl.

Re: Guess That Quote V2 (Round 30)
It was neither an owl, nor an announcer; in fact, it had nothing to do with the game at all. So, I'll give you this hint; this line was said at the tail end of the Bebi saga, AFTER Goku had already defeat him.Anime Kitten wrote:The other one I was thinking was the announcer (or one of them), after they found out Sugoro was cheating by using dice.
