Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
If Zamasu and Black fuse, will Zamasu2 have Zamasu's immortality? If for some reason the immortality didn't carry over, I think fusing with Zamasu would be Black's downfall. Black's power is "the real deal", he has Goku's potential to get stronger and stronger, but once he fuses with Zamasu he's no longer a Goku copy but just an enemy. Goku can't beat Goku. Vegeta can't beat Goku. Goku and Vegeta CAN beat a bad guy, though.

It makes no sense for him NOT to be immortal! A fused being usually has all the characteristics of either fusee. And since Akira Toriyama wants to make this arc as dark and desperate as possible the chances of this fused being retaining his immortality are as high as they go! Not only that, but the Omni-King himself will be involved! And it would make no sense for him to be involved if we're up against fodder who can still die.Fizzer wrote:If Zamasu and Black fuse, will Zamasu2 have Zamasu's immortality? This fused Being will be immortal AND have infinitely rising power!
Instant healing and the ability to copy any technique he sees. Making him the most dangerous and unstoppable opponent EVER!

I'm the only one who thinks that Beerus sees Zamasu & Black fusion when he destroys the planet???

Honestly i think that both Super and GT are equal.kinisking wrote: FFS man. Super isn't on the same level as GT. It's been called the true successor to dragonball and has much more input from Toriyama. It isn't a side product. It's a main dish and you'll have to get used to it.
Think about it, both had an ok arc (BoG arc/Black Star arc), a terrible arc (RoF arc/Super 17 arc), a good arc (U6 arc/Shadow dragons arc) and a great arc (Future Trunks arc so far/Baby arc).
I really miss ma boy, Black

That's pretty subjective, I'd argue against every single rating here.dbs fanboy wrote:Honestly i think that both Super and GT are equal.kinisking wrote: FFS man. Super isn't on the same level as GT. Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Does anyone think Goku might have the same type of reaction he did after the Cell Games, when this arc is finished?
That is to blame himself for the evil inflicted on Earth. Before he had the excuse of being dead, easily leaving everything behind. Assuming he doesn't die after this arc, there's potential for much more.
Maybe Goku temporarily abandons fighting and needs the other characters to give him perspective.
I hope they take this chance for this type of storyline. If not Mr.Toriyama, maybe Toei.

If episode 43 (where Gokû temporarily loses his access to his powers) can happen, anything's possible.

Zamasu is proving to be one of the more genre savvy characters in Dragon Ball. Breaking the time machine and Mafuba jar? Well played. Zamasu is one hell of a magnificent bastard and this arc still has me second guessing as to how it will end.

It basically means a character that is self aware of certain circumstances that always seem to happen in specific types of stories.GodVegetto91 wrote:Care to elaborate what that phrase means?Lord Beerus wrote:Zamasu is proving to be one of the more genre savvy characters in Dragon Ball. I would be very disappointed if Zeno comes and he solves everything. Worst ending ever for me.

Yes, considering Dragon Ball was like that back then. If Toriyama ever decided (or even Toyotaro with his permission) to do a new weekly manga with an anime being its adaptation, I would have nothing to say, but don't get me wrong, pal... I'd enjoy Dragon Ball Super as a whole, even if it had a great plot, animation and fights consistent all the time, I would still say is not a main seriesBoo Machine wrote:Does an anime HAVE to be based off a manga to be considered the main product? Because I find that a bit silly.
Just because it doesn't reach expectations doesn't mean it needs to be justified with the label "side product" in the same way people justify GT's existence with the label "non-Canon". If someone doesn't like it, then it's ok to just not like it.
I say this because I have this odd feeling that if super was mind blowingly amazing then there wouldn't be any issue calling it the "main dish".
Unless your just refering to merch sales then I don't see how Super isn't the main product.
And being a side-product has nothing to do with canon in my personal opinion.
Well, it took him three escape attempts to think that, so I would say he is all that "savvy"Lord Beerus wrote:Zamasu is proving to be one of the more genre savvy characters in Dragon Ball. But prior to that, Zamasu had already destroyed one of the time machines as Goku Black.Noah wrote:Well, it took him three escape attempts to think that, so I would say he is all that "savvy"Lord Beerus wrote:Zamasu is proving to be one of the more genre savvy characters in Dragon Ball. What about anime that are only anime or start as anime? I'm assuming those don't need to be based off a manga to be a main product? Which is why I find it odd that Super does simply because it's Dragonball related.
And if Super isn't the main series then what currently is? Because Super is the only Dragonball series running right now as far as I'm aware of and it's also all over the merch. I'd get calling it a side thing if it was spin off of some kind.

This has to happen. Honestly, I feel that Goku dying just won't happen. At his point, even DEATH seems like too easy of an option, even for him. Wow...that sounded a bit dark, didn't it?LightBing wrote:Does anyone think Goku might have the same type of reaction he did after the Cell Games, when this arc is finished?

I think Zeno can do anything. It's just a risk to involve him because upsetting him can be catastrophic.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:Beerus said he's not allowed to cross streams so that likely goes for KoA too.Legion wrote:I would be very disappointed if Zeno comes and he solves everything. I like the idea of bringing KoA is like a double edged sword like they may win but the whole Future Timeline could be gone as a result or something.Fizzer wrote:I think Zeno can do anything.
