Did Bulma have romantic feelings for Goku?

Ever since he turned into an adult at the end of DB, Bulma seemed to be quite attracted to him, this continued well into the Namek Saga in which she thinks about Goku and wonders if she blew it by going with Yamcha. This subsided a bit when Vegeta came into the picture, but she still clearly admires Goku, perhaps even more than Vegeta as she always relies on him to save them, especially in Super where she seems to totally ignore Vegeta such as when Frieza came to Earth, she tells him Son-Kun will get rid of him and even in the latest episodes in which she says Son-Kun will be the one to defeat Black, basically saying Vegeta's a jobber who can't do it.

I never got the sense she had any attraction to him outside of the end-of-DB gag. Personally, I can't even imagine them hooking up--it just doesn't compute. Honestly I don't feel like they ever had much chemistry after he grew up. Am I crazy? That kinda just occurred to me.

As strong as Bulma's feelings for Goku are, "romantic" is not the right word. When he grows up, she acknowledges that he has become a sexy hunk of macho manmeat, but that isn't "romantic". She was never "in love" with Goku. There relationship was much more akin to an older sister and younger brother, but since they weren't actually related, it was okay for Bulma to think of Goku as attractive. Not that she would ever actually fall in love with him though. Extreme admiration, appreciation, respect, and understanding of Goku is about as far as it goes. Goku can make Bulma have fun and laugh, but he's also extremely irritating to her. Just not husband material. She needs somebody more mature and intelligent, like Vegeta.

Personally, I CAN picture them together romantically since they have so much history together. But it's simply not the route Toriyama took, and I prefer Goku with Chi-Chi and Bulma with Vegeta anyway.

I guess I'm one of the few that would have preferred #18 with Vegeta. However, it would change a ton of things in the story about Trunks and the Future Timeline. Krillin could have been with any girl actually and it would still have made for a good story because after the Cell Games, Android #18 pretty just became a background character just like Roshi.

I think Bulma could have considered a physical relationship with Goku just for fun but she never had the opportunity to because she was with Yamcha before Chi Chi and Goku got engaged. I bet she would have loved to become friends with benefits with Goku but would probably prefer for Goku to keep his mouth shut when they're sleeping together as he might say silly shit

Honestly, if it wasn't for the whole Chi Chi thing - that and Toriyama being rubbish at writing romance - I could easily see Goku and Bulma as a couple. In a lot of ways, I'd greatly prefer that over him and Chi Chi, though I admit losing out on Vegeta and Bulma's relationship would be a heavy blow. For a couple that was thrown together simply to get us another Super Saiyan in the mix, they actually turned out to have pretty great chemistry.

I'd get further into some of the couple change-outs I'd like to have seen perhaps, but it could get a little spoiler-ey for a project I hope to (eventually) get to, so...yeah.

Interesting question. It could actually have happened, if Goku did not marry chichi, now that I think about it. However I do like Bulma and Vegeta as a couple.

Well, she did show some kind of attraction towards him for a very brief period of time when she saw him again at the 23rd WMAT... who knows. I personally think a Goku/Bulma romantic relationship could have happened under the right circumstances. That being if Chi Chi was never created.

I see it as more of Bulma having a physical attraction to Gokû in those moments instead of a romantic one. Their lifestyles just seem too different to me where I could see Gokû and Bulma going out short term, but not spending the rest of their lives together.

Vegeta seems like he can engage Bulma more on an adult level, and he's more dependable even though he's mostly grumpy about it.

Oh yeah, Vegeta and Bulma are definitely a better match than Goku and Bulma. Goku is pretty much an uneducated karate bum when it comes to an actual lifestyle. Vegeta at least would probably have actual management skills and knows the dance of politics. He was an actual Prince of not just a sovereign nation but a whole military-like planet. You have Bulma who's next-in-line to her older sister, heir to the richest family in the world. A genius and probably knows how to run the largest tech company around. They're a power couple. I just feel sometimes, maybe #18 should have went for Vegeta or something though.

Say what? Bulma was the unsatisfied and flirtatious one, her claims that Yamcha would cheat on her was just jealousy and played for comedy, since she would immediately start flirting with guys like General Blue after calling Yamcha out on the same thing. In reality Yamcha was too shy to cheat, and also far too focused on his martial arts to even have time for that.

Yamcha would already be dead before Trunks could even speak, so how could he know the truth? He'd only know what Bulma told him.
