As we all know, there are a total of four confirmed timelines... three of each were shown in story.
Timeline 1 (Cell's Timeline): Goku kills Freeza and King Cold but dies from a heart virus by the following 3 years. Afterwards, the androids invade and kill all the Z-Warriors aside from Gohan. Years later Trunks becomes old enough to train with Gohan and after multiple lost battles Gohan is killed by the androids. Trunks somehow manages to find a way to deactivate the androids but when he attempts to go back into the past Cell kills him and goes back into Timeline 3 about a year prior to Freeza invading Earth. This is also the Cell we are all familiar with.
Timeline 2 (Trunks' Timeline): Same as T1 except Trunks actually manages to find the strength to defeat the androids and Cell. This is also the Trunks we're familiar with throughout the Android/Cell Saga and most likely the current arc in Super.
Timeline 3 (Main Timeline): This is the timeline where the story takes place for the most parts. Trunks kills Freeza and King Cold in place of Goku leading to several major changes to the turns of events such as Goku's heart virus occurring after the 3 years, the androids being much stronger, #16's existence, etc. The Cell of this timeline was also killed before even being born with T1 Cell being killed by Gohan and the rest is history.
Timeline 4 (Unseen Timeline): This timeline was never shown or mentioned in the main story but it exists. It is possible it's basically the same as T3 only Zamasu actually makes good on his word of killing the 'dirty ningens' and steals Goku's body.
What do y'all think? Is Goku Black from T4 or what?

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

It's looking like all the cell timelines have been re-written/simplified/forgotten and we are now left with the main timeline, future trunks timeline, and 2 we don't know anything about. If there were multiple timelines from the cell arc Gowasu wouldn't have said "one" timeline was created recently by some idiot (future trunks).DBZAOTA482 wrote:As we all know, there are a total of four confirmed timelines... three of each were shown in story.

Re: Is Goku Black from the fourth unseen timeline?
I just thought of something:
The main timeline may not be Timeline 3.... maybe the main timeline IS the fourth unseen timeline!
