From all appearances, this doesn't seem to be a case of a local license-holder making changes, a la FUNimation's GT logo, but rather Toei coming up with different assets for the international market.

Anyway, I still like this newer logo better, between the two.

The Alien Barbarian scenario is done waay better in the manga than in the anime
In the manga it's shown that after 1000 years the Barbarians had developed a hirachy with an elder they respected enough to stop their senseless violence. Unfortunately Zamasu didn't see this as he and Gowasu were attacked by the Barbarian in the same fashion as it was in the anime.

I like how it makes Zamasu's thoughts about humans blatantly wrong
It's still going to be as Vegeta is wearing his armor, unlike the Buu arc.

Vegetto in an F arc outfit would've been cool.

I hope they either go back to those clothes next arc or get a new set of outfits altogether.

I could see Vegetto with Armor and an orange Vegeta suit actually.

But that's not the case. The 12 universes are different locations, not different dimensions. Anything else would result in the time-travel equivalent of a major syntax error.
I mean: that fact didn't affect to universe 7 and universe 10 in the sense that the things would happen in the same way in both timelines.
But it appears that U7 was affected. Before Trunks' time travels, we had 3 timelines:

Timeline A
Timeline B
Timeline C (Trunks' timeline)

After Trunks' time travels, a fourth one was created:

Timeline A
Timeline B
Timeline C (Trunks' timeline)
Timeline D (series timeline)

But Timelines A & B should also have a Trunks that time traveled, so Timelines E & F should have been created as well. So, in these Timelines, Bulma didn't create a time machine (if she even existed).
Yes, but what if Trunks from A timeline went to Timeline B already created by universe 12 traveller?

That timeline was created in the past, Trunks trip didn't create it, only travelled through the way that u12 traveller left.

Great point, it clears up a lot of confusion. (Sincerely, no sarcasm)
It's all GOOD

Yeah, it's kinda starting to grow on me too. But I still prefer the original logo.

Maybe have the Kanji feint in the background and then the new logo can stay as is just over the top of it. But yeah definitely grown on me.

Does anyone else think Toyotaro had Goku fight 4th Form Freeza with Super Saiyan God before going to Blue in his hypothetical Super F?

When Goku uses it at the tournament, none of the people who were usually present for the battle react at all to Goku being able to use God, save for Goten and Trunks who, even in Super, were told to buzz off before the final battle and were completely excluded from the movie version.

For his promotional manga of the movie, Toyotaro also treated Goku's base form as just being absorbed SSGod given the small flash of God we see when he rushes Whis. Is it far fetched to assume he would've just had God Goku fight 4th Form Freeza to keep the powers between arcs consistent?
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

How the Black Arc Should End (by Lightbing!):

Interview with Toyotarou

Really interesting and sheds some more light into what his role in adapting Toriyama's plot is.

Nothing really new. This just confirms that Toriyama's plot outline is extremely basic and Toyotaro has to fill in the blinks when reaching point A to point B in the overall plot of an given arc. So in reality, the manga isn't any more faithful to Toriyama's plot outline than the Super anime is, or vice versa. The writing team for the anime and Toyotoro both have to be very creative when filling in the blanks from one major plot point to another.

There's already a topic for that. Let's not take three different on-going topics about the same thing.

Put my pre-order in for volume 2 of the manga.
I've learned my lesson about how fast pre-orders run out.

Anyone knows how often Volume 1 was sold? I read something with 30,000 copies in April and position 25 (or like this).

In September I was in Osaka and it was hard to get Volume 1 - sold out almost everywhere I went. Luckily I finally found one store with two last copies left.

I would really love to hear any news about a German release of the manga.

Probably. Toyotaro seems to have scratched the whole "Goku absorbed the God power into his base form" that Toriyama introduced in BoG and F. Even Toriyama seems to have regretted it. It isn't showcased in either the Champa or Black arc in the manga or anime. The only times where Goku's base form was ridiculously powerful are the movie rehash arcs and the Copy-Vegeta filler, which were all Toei originals.

Similar experience when I went to Japan in April, soon after the volume came out. I had no idea it was so popular, I just assumed I would come across it and buy it whenever, but then I found it was sold out everywhere I checked! Never managed to find it in Japan, so bought it from a local Kinokuniya after returning home. I hope volume 2 will have more copies printed to keep up with demand.
