That situation with Cell is a bit weird for me to chalk it up to a sneak attack. With Freeza, he's just charging a small blast with his finger to blow Goku's brains out while Cell is firing the mother of all Kamehameha's and is using most if not all his power to kill Gohan. Or is it because Cell is pouring all of his energy into the blast its leaving him vulnerable?

Kind of like how Raditz noted that Piccolo's battle power when charging the Makankosappo was gathered into his fingertips, perhaps Cell's power was also gathered into his hands, leaving his body vulnerable, which is why Base Vegeta was able to distract him.

I assume the latter. I think SSJ3 Goku trying to gather power to kill Pure Boo might also be the case. There might be more examples.

I assume the latter. I think SSJ3 Goku trying to gather power to kill Pure Boo might also be the case. There might be more examples.

To be fair, it isn't like Vegeta's attack damaged Cell at all, nor did it even budge him. All that happened was that Cell's attention was diverted away from Gohan and his concentration wavered, which allowed Gohan to give one final push to overpower Cell.

Going back to the base-form Saiyans being stronger than Piccolo thing, it doesn't make much sense in the context of the Cell Games, given that Piccolo didn't seem that far behind Vegeta or Trunks based on everyone's' performance against the Cell Juniors. Heck, he did better than an exhausted Goku did.

to be fair, Boo arc is kind of a mess when it comes to power scaling. For example, Bobbidi thinks that the three Saiyans have enough power to revive Majin Boo, but are also weak enough to be easily defeated by Pui-Pui, which doesn't add up at all. Not to mention all of the craziness that comes with Gotenks' power and which form of Boo is the strongest and all that mess.

Vegeta saying he can win a tournament fight with Piccolo and 18 without SSJ wasn't really strong evidence for base saiyans> Piccolo to me as his goal was to fight Goku anyway and he was going to do any thing possible to get that fight.

I can see Vegeta being in the 400K~500K range, but Kuririn being at 200,000 seems pretty damn high to me. The highest I'd put him is around 100K~150K

30x? Didn't he say 10x? Also, mine is still 50x, just that Goku got demolished so his energy isn't as high as it normally would be.
