It's November. It's not like you'll be waiting three months for the DLC and such.

Yeah, I know it's a month away and stuff. Pretty close, really. But next week FFXV will be out, so... Time will be short to play both games xD

I'm fine with Dec. 20th has a release date, that gives me more time to work on unlocking all the other skills and outfit pieces and such.

Am a bit disappointed that it sounds like we're not getting more story missions maybe though. We've already got Goku, SSGSS Goku (who'll now get his Kaioken form), Vegeta, SSGSS Vegeta, Piccolo, Hit, and now it's adding Frost and Cabba. That's all the ingredients really needed to do a passable Universe 6 arc for the story, there's no reason not to.

I'm not concerned at all with the late December release for the first DLC. I'm put the game the game to prevent getting burned out from it and have explored other games. Even after I return from my holiday in New York on Sunday, I'll still be able to complete all remaining Parallel Quests, Expert Missions and unlocks all the remaining clothes, items and techniques.

The RNG is immensely improved. Grinding has been minimized. You'll only have to play PQs a couple times to get what you want, in most cases.

And yes, there are a few around the city, though not very many.

The RNG is definitely a lot kinder, though I did end up spending an obscene amount of time trying to get Recoome Eraser Gun to drop. I only finally managed it after looking up what was going wrong - apparently to have the chance triggered, you have to kill Recoome before Turles shows up and makes it where you can't for a bit. That gives you literally like 10 seconds do it. Rough one.

I'm kind of surprised that he was given the Galick gun for a move. They look a bit more cartoonish in comparison to everyone else though at least to me. I'm cool with the free update alone I'm glad I decided not to get the season pass. 2 characters isn't worth getting that first pack to me.

Seems kind of a ripoff doesn't it? $10 just for 2 new characters and 3 quests? The entire game cost only $60.

Also the first DLC pack for Xenoverse had 3 characters and a new playable stage.

But why? Unless the move got a buff from the first game it was a largely useless ult that benefitted the AI more than it ever did the players. The long chargeup for full damage makes you extremely prone to being stamina broke by the aggressive AI in the later PQ's. Yeah you can let it go early but the damage it does then is comparable to ults like the Super and Perfect Kamehameha.

The move overall is just really not all that viable unless you want to use it on Oozaru and the AI in the earlier PQ's that basically just stand there and take any ult you want to throw out at them.

A lot of Ults suffer from this now. That's why getting your opponent (Human or AI) into a Guard Break state first is a good idea. Thankfully the AI also doesn't swarm you when you have lots of them: they just occasionally attack with basic ki blasts, but most of the time just watch as you beat the crap out of your current target.

On a side note, at least Super Galick Gun follows your opponent when charging and has amazing reach. Super Kamehameha/Final Flash don't have that.

Unfortunately, I'm quite confident that Chris Ayres will voice Frost. Which would be a terrible decision in my opinion. No guesses for Cabba, though I think Tarble's voice would suit him.

I love Chris Ayres, his Freeza is just pure awesome, but I really want someone else to voice him and not fall into the same patter with the Japanese voices and they recast the same VA for another character without sound any different.

That's excluding Nozowa of course, because she's amazing enough to pull it off.

I completely agree. His Freeza is on the spot, but I don't think Mr. Horikawa's voice suits Frost to begin with, and Mr. Ayres even more so. Hopefully they'll get someone else who still sounds like a Frost Demon but not like Freeza.

I wish Cabba's SSJ eyes weren't the same shape as his Base eyes. They're supposed to change to the typical SSJ eyes.

After watching the final battle, I'm calling it: Fuu for Xenoverse 3. Somehow, I think Towa survived and is pregnant with Fuu.
