Re: What's left after this arc?
A decently written story with some ingenuity behind it, right now DB doesn't need any more transformations or fusions. Right now it needs to expand on the lore and figure how to make some interesting stories out of them, stop have a total disregard of continuity, and produce a story without some many asspulls, inconsistencies, and contrived points. This arc was good though, it was just written terribly at some parts, that's probably do to the schedule. I hope the next arc blows this one out the water or is a least better.
Re: What's left after this arc?
Gohan would make me more hyped than anything in the Future trunks arc tbh.
There can be new transformations
New moves
The dragonBall universe is limitless.
Also i hate when people say Super should just end because they don't like it. It's just plain selfish. Other people are enjoying it, if you hate it don't watch. It's like me wishing carrots are illegal just because I don't like how they taste.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

Re: What's left after this arc?
It does have one limit, and that's the mind of the writers. The universe(s) themselves have always been enormous, and implied to be full of life, but no one has tackled the challenge of showing it. Even in GT, we got one adventure arc, and it was forced af. We need a space adventure that actually makes sense, given the cast.kinisking wrote:The dragonBall universe is limitless.

Yeah, you know what I'm starting to think how awesome it would have been if present Gohan were to fight alongside FTrunks during that arc, but oh well, kinisking wrote:Gohan would make me more hyped than anything in the Future trunks arc tbh.
It would sure be nice if Gohan could return for next main arc lol
Re: What's left after this arc?
That could be fun. Honestly a super dragonBall arc to wish back Future trunks Timeline could have been great. Piccolo because he has nothing to do, Goku and vegeta because they feel guilty, Goten and Trunks because kid trunks wants to help his future self, Gohan because he wants to help and because he wants to study the different planets, and bulma will be the navigator.Jinzoningen MULE wrote:It does have one limit, and that's the mind of the writers. Bulma did hint at a Super Dragon Ball hunt just before the tournament, but that idea was killed after all of 5 minutes.kinisking wrote:That could be fun. Literally the worst thing about the Champa arc. Although the idea of them fighting on a dragonBall is amusing, i can't believe how convenient they made it.Jinzoningen MULE wrote:Bulma did hint at a Super Dragon Ball hunt just before the tournament, but that idea was killed after all of 5 minutes.kinisking wrote:That could be fun. I wouldn't mind new move, but the transformations need to take a pause, than come back after a considerate amount of time has passed.kinisking wrote:Gohan would make me more hyped than anything in the Future trunks arc tbh.

Re: What's left after this arc?
The heroes haven't had a new transformation since 2015. I don't want any more, but since we've officially had just as many arcs in DBS as we did in DBZ, I don't think you can argue that not enough time has passed.

We've had super saiyan blue for 3 arcs now. That's a pretty long time. I kind of at least one more arc of it, but I really wouldn't be surprised if it is surpassed with the new arc.SaiyanGod117 wrote:I wouldn't mind new move, but the transformations need to take a pause, than come back after a considerate amount of time has passed.kinisking wrote:Gohan would make me more hyped than anything in the Future trunks arc tbh.

Re: What's left after this arc?
In F.Trunks saga we had 'Super Trunks' transformation and SSJ Rose.
In Bog we had SSJ God, later SSJ Blue in RoF. I like those SSJ levels, I really do, but some new transformation would be just too much. I'd prefer them to master SSJ Blue by hard training.

Leave Super alone, man.fadeddreams5 wrote:Before Super was released, I used to say "modern DB," but it's easier to bash Super.Lord Beerus wrote:The only form that Super has originally introduced is Future Trunks raging SSJ form. Re: What's left after this arc?
Something I've been suggesting for a while now was a Super Dragon Balls arc in the vein of DBGT's Black Star Dragon Balls arc, and that it should have followed hot off the heels of the Zamasu arc, having everyone travel between Universes 6 and 7, doubling as an exploration of that universe, and the cast of characters you suggested are great! I had a similar line-up with this cast: Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Goten, Kid Trunks, Future Trunks, Future Mai, and Bulma, w/Beerus and Whis serving as their guide to Universe 6, or replace Beerus and Whis with Jaco.kinisking wrote:That could be fun. Id prefer Jaco. Man, I thought I'd hate him but I ended up really liking the character. Beerus and Whis are kind of boring to me tbh.dragonballhero wrote:Something I've been suggesting for a while now was a Super Dragon Balls arc in the vein of DBGT's Black Star Dragon Balls arc, and that it should have followed hot off the heels of the Zamasu arc, having everyone travel between Universes 6 and 7, doubling as an exploration of that universe, and the cast of characters you suggested are great! Re: What's left after this arc?
Too much people to quote, so global reply.
I think any series will benefit of good writing, it's axiomatic. So far, Super if not excellent at narration was good in pace and tried to explore new grounds. It also tried a change in mood for once in a while (if nothing, they tried), I hope as anyone more indepth of the universes and maybe less "one stage" stuff like Champa Arc. It's always a pleasure to see characters reach new places and situations to face (One Piece lesson #1),
ANYWAY, since DBZ debut, everything was about main chara and villains grow. Each arc, a new villain that evolve vs a new main move or transformation.
The next arc must propose something that CANNOT be beaten by those stuff, and heroes need to try something new. It's almost mandatory as continual rise of power is a backbone of all Dragon Ball.
The issue is... in Zamasu arc they shoot out everything!! Super already used everything, from beams, to balls, to fusions, in standard and Blue version.
It used already all DB goldmine of powers.
So I'm just guessing what they could conceive to raise the stakes next time.
many thanks to all discussion contributors.
