In my mind I have an image of Goku dying and then Gohan sees him dead and then Gohan charges towards Hit and Hit then just knocks him out in 1 swcond and that is him done for the arc.

I would argue about how wrong you are but you are not.. That is pretty much what will happen if Gohan charges on hit..

I would give Gohan at least two hits before he is down though..
