Xyex's theory does seem to have its merits. But Buu's absorption ability isn't that similar to the fusions produced by the technique Goten and Trunks use. He just appears to assume a few of the physical and mental characteristics of the people he absorbs. Gotenks had a sloping forehead and a stupid vest, so Buu had a sloping forehead and stupid vest when he absorbed him. I figured Dai Kaioshin was a fat guy with a cape, so Buu wound up becoming a fat guy with a cape after absorbing him.PsyLiam wrote:I actually quite like the idea that Fat Buu is an "imperfect fusion" in some way. EX, I remember stumbling onto the unfinished Transformations page a while back...
Well, by stumbled, I mean I was on the DVD Guide page, got a lightbulb over my head, and replaced DVD with Transformations in the address bar, or something. Either way, I was there.
My point? I applaud your patience with the Boo thing. I tried to explain the Boo stuff to a friend who isn't really into Dragonball, and here's the reaction I got:
