Most intense music from the series?

I wouldn't call all of these intense, but the Kai score had some real gems. If only there wasn't the copyright fiasco.
One Hit to Victory
The Fierce Battle
The Ebb and the Flow
Dragon Soul (Orchestral Version)
The Braveheart Challenges the Strong

This fits the intensity of the introduction to the SSJ transformation and what impact it had. I could definitely feel Goku's rage that allowed him to ascend to that level of power.

Love that BGM. It's Kikuchi's best Z BGMNaruto6583 wrote:I think you're talking about M814B.fadeddreams5 wrote:I don't know the name. That theme that plays when Freeza reaches his final form. You know, the "Bum bummm, bum bum bum, bum bum bum bummmm"

The second two Levy/Wasserman pieces are what I based one of my audition pieces on for Faulconer. That's the one he was impressed with and I think got him to hire me.Kakacarrottop wrote:What do you think are the most intense pieces of music from the series? By 'intense' i generally mean fast paced or "heavy" music.
From the Levy/Wasserman score:

From the Westwood score:

From the Faulconer productions score:

Overall i think the Saban score was the most intense, as it had a lot of very fast paced & frantic pieces, although i'd say the Faulconer and Menza scores felt the most metal.
It got used for a Kame vs Garilc scene at one point I believe.

Mine would have to be
M1416
I actually didn't know that this piece existed for the longest time. I had never watched Movie 7, and when I did my first run-through of the series subbed, this played a couple times in the Super Saiya-jin 2 Gohan-Cell fight. It's great, and the drum beat at the end is awesome.

I love that piece, and I especially love its use after Cell wrecks Gohan's arm.RoarkVegeta wrote:Mine would have to be

From the Kikuchi score, mine would have to be M1212 . It just gets you so pumped up!
From Sumitomo's work, the correct answer is probably this track, but I'm not a huge fan of that one. So I'm going to go with Training with Whis.
From the Faulconer soundtrack, most certainly the Goku vs 19 track. It may not really sound Dragon Ball, but dang if it doesn't get the blood flowing a bit.

This song literally makes the scene where Vegeta transforms into a Super Saiyan for the first time on-screen.

I always have been a big fan of The Cell Games Which Summon Death.
"It was deemed to be too awesome." - Scott McNeil on Dragon Ball Kai not being aired yet in Canada.
Re: Most intense music from the series?
Faulconer - Destruction.
Used in the final moments on a dying planet Namek during the epic fight between Goku and Frieza. IIRC also used when Future Trunks pushes back one of Mecha-Frieza's planet killing energy balls, and when Dr Gero sucks out the life from Yamcha.
Always gave me the chills.

I checked out of geek culture after I saw the Snyder Cut. Everything else is "sentimental candyfloss."

This one is a classic. I never knew this one originated from Dead ZoneShaneisMC wrote:https://youtu.be/Y_F7lQ6Pzqc one of my faves for whatever reason, but so many are simply classic
