I'm pretty much resigned to the fact the UK will not be seeing Super on TV screens for a long time.Lord Frieza wrote:The UK constantly censers violence and romance in cartoons. Apparently, even in this enlightened age were single-sex couples can marry, kids apparently can't handle the concept in cartoons like Steven Universe or Adventure Time.
A show like Super not making the cut is no surprising, despite how toned down it is from Z.
Edit: It would also seem like the UK's trying to go threw a new era of forced censorship and prohibition, which is really funny. We had this kind of bs years ago back in the 80's and it failed hard then and in this day and age its going to fail even harder.
There doesn't seem to be any children's network that actually wants to take it - if it weren't for the fact that here in the UK, regardless of the time of day, all children's programming on kids channels must be appropriate for all ages, we would have a better chance.
It's been one hell of a ride, but it is now over. RIP Dragon Ball on UK Television 2000 - 2016.
