The Para-Para brothers were in the Bardock- Father of Goku special, but that came in 2011 and the series started in 2008.

Regardless, like you said, Abridged started in 2008 and the only time(?) they use GT footage is in 2011. That means that they didn't use GT for three years but still had GT in their disclaimer. So that wouldn't make including Super completely implausible.

It was better than their Super Android 13 movie, which I still think is their weakest special(but still not bad by any means). I actually thought the first half dragged its feet a bit but picked up right around the ending, so it seems we have the opposite problem here.

Also, is it just me or did they use a homemade rendition of some Dragon Ball Fusions OST? Right around where Brly fights them all at once? Is so, that's friggin' awesome. I love that particular track. I didn't notice it in the credits, though.

Well, now we have a new ship. I'm so sad Trunks and Broly didn't get married!

That was fun. Just like the original film the moment Legendary Broly pops up everything changes. The jokes were more frantic, one after another. Vegeta orgasming to Broly was a great twist, definitely my favorite after Wheelo...Speaking of which, poor Johnathan. You will be missed, you big brained bastard.

I don't know, you could probably blame that on the source material. It was just one big whoopass on the heroes with nonlethal damage until Goku deus ex machina's harder than normal. I'm not sure if it could have been improved further.

Pretty good, especially with Paragus pulling a Freeza arc Vegeta. Only real thing I disliked was the VA's basically becoming the characters to trash Broly. It felt way too real and forced like "Did you know we hate Broly. Did ya get it yet? DID YA DID YA DID YA!" I found the trashing in story and character to be funnier like how can he be so cool and so stupid. Or making fun of the crying thing. This though...that was what felt like a self insert at the last moments which really left a bitter taste.

Vegeta's conundrum over 'he's so cool, but he's so stupid!' was fun. Also really enjoyed that song over the end credits. I hope more remaining movies get those.
