Baba did have an entire saga around getting her to help them find a Dragon Ball by beating her warriors. She was main antagonist of said saga.

Marron spoke in Dragon Ball Super Episode 003. That's not a single episode example, just the earliest. She has her fair share of lines.

She was a big part of one mini-arc in DB, had a minor role in the Saiyan arc, and was absent again until Boo where she again had minor role. If you're going to call that "quite a large" role then you'll have no adjectives left for the actually important characters.
