Dragon Ball Super English Dub Project: Potara

So with the Bang Zoom dub premiering and being somewhat accessible, as well as some of the dub being arguably better then Funimation's, I'm gonna try to do what I promised on the Bang Zoom thread and make a dub combining the cast of both shows into one dub. I'll be uploading and linking the AUDIO ONLY here on Kanzenshuu (Similar to the Kai Yamamoto Revival Project). Of course I can't guarantee I'll do the ENTIRE show. But at least for the first two episodes I'd like to test and see what feedback is and if it's even possible in the first place.

Obviously some dialogue won't mesh well and switching between Mr. Satan and Hercule will happen. But I'll at least do the first 2 episodes and hope it's not too bad.

What I DO need help with, is casting. Since I know opinions are mixed and I wouldn't want to handle all the casting choices by myself. I wanna know who you all want to play who.

I am 100% set on Funimation's Narrator and Bang Zoom's Goten and Trunks. The rest will be whatever people here really want or who can make the best argument for using a certain voice.

Great Idea! Please Please use the FUNimation Majin Boo voice! The Bang Zoom one is just forcing his voice too much to sound like Josh Martin.

So...what's the audio going to sync to? Japanese Blu-Ray and streaming raws? Japanese HDTV raws (sponsor message)? Toei Silmucast raws (added Toei logo at intro)? US Toonami raws (shortened OP and ED)? Toonami Asia raws (possible censorship involving cuts)?

Beerus I'd go with FUNi. BZ sounds regal, but none of the sarcastic, 'lazy' edge that FUNi and the original Japanese have. Whis, could go either way.

I say DEFINITELY stick with Sean Schemmel for Goku. Lex Lang's a great voice actor, but he's just not Goku. I'd also recommend using Bang Zoom for Hercule/Satan.

King Kai being BZ dub has to be a must, Schemmel, Sabat, Douglas, Sinclair have to be a must for FUNi. But are you gonna wait to see if we get better AQ for BZ? Cuz It's gonna be jarring.

What would be curious would be when we get to the U6 arc for both respective dubs to see how they handle the new characters.

I'm pretty keen to see how this turns out, reminds me of an old edit combining the Funi and Pioneer dubs of Dead Zone. (And seeing as the link to the actual result of Ashura's work is long since dead, I've popped it into my Dropbox account if you want to check it out.)
