1. Goku. Strongest in the universe, no-brainer.
2. Vegeta. Strong and always willing to push himself to the limit.
3. Super Buu. Overpowered as hell and initimidating.
4. Gotenks. Has overwhelming power and might be more mature at the age Goten and Trunks are now.
5. Frieza. Cunning and intimidating.
6. Piccolo. Team strategist who can still put up an excellent fight.
7. Future Trunks. Has great potential and has knowledge of weapons, which could come in handy if the tourney is set up like the Hunger games and there are weapons around.
8. Gohan. Has great potential and brains.
9. Android 18. She could easily still be a strong character.

(note: there are only 9 here because Goten and Trunks can't always be fused.)

7- Goku (with the ability to go Full Power SSj4 like against Golden Oozaru Baby)

I think the US arc almost got the team right, with the exception of Roshi and Tenshinhan; take them out for Goten and Trunks.
