But Hit wasn't a villain or even the main villain. He was, for the lack of better terms, the elite mook to Champa.GodKaio-Ken wrote:

And if you want to get technical, Goku did beat Freeza. Freeza then cheated, so Goku cheated back and got ahead.

Well I didn't really bring up U6 tournament I just replied to the idea and I don't disagree with you on Hit. No-one really beat him anyway though so for this discussion it's moot.
He did win in R.O.F but at the same time can you blame fans for wanting to see him win in a situation where time doesn't have to be rewound? lol

But he did win. The only reason why time rewind had to be used was because Freeza cheated and Vegeta screwed up, if we can call a life-or-death battle a cheat. So in this context, Goku cheated back and won. So he won twice. He won the straight fight and won the cheating match.GodKaio-Ken wrote:

Freeza didn't cheat. What he did was perfectly okay for someone trying to destroy Earth and the Saiyans on it. Just my opinion though.HeroR wrote:But he did win. Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
I hate when people give Freeza the win over Goku in ROF. So he wins because sorbet interrupted but Goku's win doesn't count because Whis interrupted ? Not counting interruptions Goku wins. Counting interruptions ... Goku wins.
Disclaimer: I might get into a disagreement with you. Sometimes I might even get feisty about it. I'll never harbor negative feelings because of it though. I hope you feel the same way!Jinzoningen MULE wrote: Maybe I should start making it a point not to comment when I'm not sure of something. Too many people know what they're talking about around here.
I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
I think it comes down to good guys are not supposed to 'cheat', while it's expected for the bad guys to cheat. Good guys are supposed to win straight even when the villain cheats, if they don't, they didn't really win.kinisking wrote:I hate when people give Freeza the win over Goku in ROF. I personally find the above silly, but that seems to be the mentality, because a win is a win, especially in a battle to the death with no rules.

Herms said Fujitv will broadcast the new OP on a show tomorrow!!
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Nice designs, but we're probably never going to see most of these Gods do any fighting, beyond maybe 1 or 2, so they're just going to be essentially background material.
Kind of a waste of good designs. The actual fighters in the tournament will probably be more bland looking

All the designs are good!
Glad we get the new opening so soon, the week is gonna go past easy with so many scenes to speculate on

So saiyans gaining god ki is fine, but with earthlings it's not? What sense does that make, especially since god ki is implied to be able to be gained by anyone.Noah wrote:I hope to see no BS like the earthlings reaching the God realm or something, let's keep things casual, please

Think you're jumping the gun a bit let's wait and see where the arc is heading before coming up with conclusions like that.precita wrote:Nice designs, but we're probably never going to see most of these Gods do any fighting, beyond maybe 1 or 2, so they're just going to be essentially background material.

This also confirms that the angel design seen next to the dwarf god is NOT his angel since the same guy is seen next to the fox god.vilker wrote:We already have the 12 Hakaishin:
