No but as someone who wants to see Goku/Vegeta get real wins against a villain...I don't count Monaka winning as "Goku and Co" personally.
Why not ? Goku and co did all the work. Vegeta had like 3 wins ffs.
Against Fodder in matches that had no real importance. We are talking about actual main villains...and I meant more in terms of Goku I just don't want to piss of Vegeta fans too.

But Hit wasn't a villain or even the main villain. He was, for the lack of better terms, the elite mook to Champa.

And if you want to get technical, Goku did beat Freeza. Freeza then cheated, so Goku cheated back and got ahead.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

Well I didn't really bring up U6 tournament I just replied to the idea and I don't disagree with you on Hit. No-one really beat him anyway though so for this discussion it's moot.

He did win in R.O.F but at the same time can you blame fans for wanting to see him win in a situation where time doesn't have to be rewound? lol

But he did win. The only reason why time rewind had to be used was because Freeza cheated and Vegeta screwed up, if we can call a life-or-death battle a cheat. So in this context, Goku cheated back and won. So he won twice. He won the straight fight and won the cheating match.

Freeza didn't cheat. What he did was perfectly okay for someone trying to destroy Earth and the Saiyans on it. Just my opinion though.

And what Goku did was perfectly okay for someone who wanted to save his planet and friends. So it works both ways.

I hate when people give Freeza the win over Goku in ROF. So he wins because sorbet interrupted but Goku's win doesn't count because Whis interrupted ? Not counting interruptions Goku wins. Counting interruptions ... Goku wins.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

I think it comes down to good guys are not supposed to 'cheat', while it's expected for the bad guys to cheat. Good guys are supposed to win straight even when the villain cheats, if they don't, they didn't really win.

I personally find the above silly, but that seems to be the mentality, because a win is a win, especially in a battle to the death with no rules.

Nice designs, but we're probably never going to see most of these Gods do any fighting, beyond maybe 1 or 2, so they're just going to be essentially background material.

Kind of a waste of good designs. The actual fighters in the tournament will probably be more bland looking

So saiyans gaining god ki is fine, but with earthlings it's not? What sense does that make, especially since god ki is implied to be able to be gained by anyone.

Think you're jumping the gun a bit let's wait and see where the arc is heading before coming up with conclusions like that.

This also confirms that the angel design seen next to the dwarf god is NOT his angel since the same guy is seen next to the fox god.
