Is Vegito ruined?

Then the potara fusion already had no real draw backs. Hell, this actually adds a draw back as using it in their most powerful form severly limits the time they can use the fusion.

3: It makes Elder Kaioshin look like an idiot who has no idea what he's talking about.

Not really, it's perfectly understandable that Elder Kai wouldn't know about this. He was stuck in a sword for a few centuries, and the Kaioshins don't seem to interact with mortals often. There's nothing saying that this fact about this fusion is common knowledge or that Elder Kai should know it.

Stop with the quotation marks. It's a retcon.
Retcon: "a piece of new information that imposes a different interpretation on previously described events, typically used to facilitate a dramatic plot shift or account for an inconsistency."
That's 100% what this is.

And there are multiple reasons it's annoying as fuck:
1: It makes potara fusion have no real drawbacks.
2: It makes potara fusion better than fusion dance in EVERY way.
3: It makes Elder Kaioshin look like an idiot who has no idea what he's talking about.
4: It means rather than being a last ditch effort, they can fuse whenever, without repercussions.
5: It's a pointless change when they previously established that the dragon balls can unfuse someone.
6: It meant we couldn't get any more time with Vegito, like was often hoped.
7: Pointless retcons in general are annoying (Even if it's something minor like Trunks' blue hair)
I could probably go on, but these are the main seven reasons.

tbh I'm not. but hey i get bullied a lot over stupid things so I'm really just trying to make myself feel better. i got good friends to make me feel better. lol but thanks for the advice

Vegetto is not ruined. He is still pure and unspoiled, and has yet to succumb to the temptations of the flesh.

I actually liked that they made it a non permanent fusion. As it was (thought to be) before, you had to wonder why they didn't fuse everytime some strong asshole shows up. If you are going to include an OP power up and you don't plan to use it after it's introduction, you have to give it a drawback. Now the Potara fusion has one.
Then again, I don't really care about Vegito. I don't think I even consider him a character lol. I would agree that the fusion should have lasted the whole episode or something like that, especially if this is the last time they will use it.
