I just look at them, do a *sigh*, laugh at those ignorant people and just carry on with my life.
I'm just a DB fan that's in the grey area that exists between an Hardcore Fanboy and a Casual :P

A lot of people are ignorant. I don't blame them for these type of comments to be honest, but I also don't excuse them.

I don't blame them either... using newbies to animate a series for such a big name like Dragon ball WTF?!!

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

Most don't have much idea of the animation process. Does it change the fact that a production like Super should be a showpiece for Toei and all parties involved instead of bad-to-mediocre quality? Nope.

Yeah, it's all well and good knowing what problems they are facing but in the end, it's not up to the mark and that's what counts..

Yeah, you can see where they're coming from but I wouldn't take it as far as that. Fans have waited 20 years for a Dragon ball series so the expectations were very high.
I still think Super shouldn't have been made, and instead just focused on the arcs as movies. There wouldn't be as much complaining, and the animation would be a lot better.

I have and the sources I've read only confirms my statement.

What are your 'sources'? An interview with a member at Toei doing damage control? If you look at the staff lists, you can see perfectly well that nobody with any significant presence on Super is in any way a 'newbie'. It's nonsense. A PR fabrication. There is no argument against that. These are animators with verifiable history.

I don't know about it and as far as I know every episode's staff list is filled with good animators which also animated the other three series of Dragon Ball.

What ruined the animation of Super, if I'm not mistaken, is the complete lack of pre-production because Toei didn't want to lose their timeslot.
If Super started the 6th of September instead of the 5th of July (Toei could have aired something else in that time slot, even something Dragon Ball related like Movies, for example) then I believe the serie wouldn't have had so many badly animated moments and bad art.

The best thing they could have done, in my opinion, would have been of airing the two movies, possibly changing some things here and there, and at least expanding them with Episode 1 and 2 (and also with Goku and Vegeta training with Whis parts, if possible). I have no idea if they could have done it or not, but this way no one would have complained about the animation and once the new arc started, it would have surely looked a lot better.
I'm quite ignorant on the matter, so I'm waiting for someone to explain me why this could or could not have been possible.

Dbz had a lot of terrible animations too but their top shelf stuff was amazing.

Dbs really doesn't have an excuse for poor animation considering TOEI has been at this for a long time. You would just naturally expect better quality. And some episodes are actually really well done but others are worse than anything I've ever seen. I don't know enough about the animators but Toei needs to reconsider some of their ways because it's a little embarrassing.

There's no reason they should release a series or episode and then when they sell it later in bluray they literally make it an emphasis to tell the public it's a remastered edition. In the case of Saint Seiya for example there was some stuff that the fans to this day use as comic relief. Of course they had to fix it.

This new arc looks pretty amazing though..

DBS just lacks fluency in the combat most of the time. That's probably my biggest issue, besides modern Toei Goku.
This gif is a prime example of really good motion.

I'd tell them to go on Kanzenshuu, read up on this stuff and then make an informed opinion on it.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

This is your example for good motion? When it's animated on 3's, with no follow-through or secondary animation?
I still like that part though.

Does it matter if it dosen't fit "good motion" notion of today? It looks fantastic..

Sorry, I'm still learning about the animation aspect of things, but I just love it. It looks so smooth. The hand movements are superb and it really gives you that goku vibe with his martial arts training.

A whole lot of ignorance and misinformation of how the animation industry works in Japan.

I just think it's a shame. The information is out there to find, and very easy to find at that, but they would rather make up information in their own heads.

The "DBS should look like One punch man" or "Give it to madhouse" thing is pretty much the only thing that bugs me. Mostly because I see it a lot. Like, too much, and it's usually said by people who aren't interested in having a conversation about it or want to learn anything new. Just yell. So much yelling. Especially if its a youtube video.

They don't know what they're talking about, but I do agree that modern DB looks horrible.
