Okay thanks a lot for your complete answer it helps a lot, I take notes about your descriptions !Ajay wrote:Well, in the first image, the hair is typical of Yamamuro - it's very blocky, whereas Nakatsuru's is more flowing - compare it with the cover of Budokai 1 (Dragon Ball Z). The ear shapes in both images are as Yamamuro as you get, while Nakatsuru's ears are taller and much more in line with Toriyama's. Goku in the second image is 1:1 with just about every single Goku Yamamuro drew during this era (I'm working on a video on him right now, so I've done nothing but stare at this era for most of the week).samuo2 wrote:Okay thanks for your answer! I'm sorry if I'm asking too much but can you please develop your ideas?
I found some traits that are very Nakatsuru like noses, Vegeta's shades, the color of the highlight, Vegeta's eyes, global proportions of all faces and so one
Even if I'm agree that there are Yamamuro traits too like Gokû's face, Gokû's shades, it's too brief to convince me
I don't really know what else to say. Those are Yamamuro. You stare at styles long enough and you kinda just know after a while - I sometimes struggle to put it into words. Sorry! Hope that helps, anyway.
Hey! Actually I was comparing to Nakatsuru's Anime Comics covers, but I'm not agree with your Yamamuro's illustrations because nothing says that he had this style during this era, and tbh I don't really know products that are 100% him during this era.DragonBalllKaiHD wrote:For people that are new to analyzing about artists' certain styles, it can be a bit difficult, but once you figure out how to break apart the traits, it should be easier from here out.
