How much "Filler" does Kai contain?

So Dragon Ball (Z) Kai claims to be "true to the Manga…" and have "…filler-free scripts." But the first episode begins with a scene that's not even in the Manga! Bardock fighting Freeza is implied not shown in the Manga and the scene of the crowd holding up Goku and Tien isn't in the Manga either. So for those who have seen Kai all the way through just exactly how much filler was retained?
I mean in comparison to Z, yes a lot of material was indeed cut out that's fact. But I find it funny that the show boasts its "true to the Manga" aspect yet its first few minutes are filled with the "dreaded filler material." I'm not knocking Kai mind you I'm just curious as to how much Z filler it retained.

I'm not sure those numbers are entirely accurate. Near as I can tell, they simply took the episodes that are either 100% filler or half filler, and counted them against the total number of episodes for the arc. I very quickly did exactly that using the guide as a basis (two "half filler" episodes = 1 episode, "filler episodes" = 1 episode, "mostly filler" = 1 episode) and came to just under 35% (34.28 to be exact). I didn't count the episodes with "Partial Filler" which could be the reason for the slight discrepancy.

The problem with this method is that it doesn't account for all of the filler that is present within actual canon content and episodes themselves, of which there can be a lot. It also doesn't account for the over-excessive extension of sequences and scenes to kill time (i.e. five minute stare downs and power-ups). I don't blame Kanzenshuu for doing it this way; the actual legwork involved in calculating the precise amount of filler content would be enormous. However, I would take those numbers with a grain of salt.

• Freeza's forces kept their inconsistent body counts.
• Bluma & Ginyu swap bodies back & forth.
• Goku converses with a dead Vegeta.
• Gohan fights Freeza after Goku's supposed death.
• Vegeta witnesses Super Saiyan before Future Trunks displays it.
• Freeza's reconstruction is detailed.
• Freeza attempts to kill Future Trunks via planet explosion.
• The calm before the Cell Game retains some expanded material from Dragon Ball Z.
• Mr. Satan's legion is featured.
• Dragon Team assists Gohan with Cell before Vegeta tries anything.
• Yakon eats Bobbidi's soldiers.
• Dabra meditates.
• Gohan, Dabra, Goku, & Vegeta keep their expanded battles.
• Goku demonstrates Super Saiyan 3 for Trunks & Goten.
• Mr. Popo has a disagreement with Trunks & Goten.
• Boo & Gotenks' first battle isn't comically skipped.
• Vegetto fights Boo before transforming.

I'm certain there's more than that but it's a start away from percentages.

To clarify, this was referring to the Saiyan arc specifically. I apologize for forgetting to mention that.
