A new live-action movie is something Iam really hoping won't become a reality because you know whoever makes it will screw it up somehow.

Yeah, it's pretty generally agreed upon that a Dragon Ball movie would be a BAD IDEA (besides the more obvious issues, I think the series has been on enough mediums to make film passe). It would most certainly be saturated with an excess of special effects. But let me throw this idea at you guys: how would you feel about a Dragon Ball movie with a decidedly "fantasy" slant to it? Reminiscent of Lord of the Rings or some such thing? I think the late Dragon Ball arcs might be interesting here.

I only started watching it last year, and I first read the manga in 2004, when it was released in Norway. The ex-dubbie and me were just saying that we're lucky 4kids didn't get the show. I mean, the FUNi dub might be bad, but it would have been like, 100000000000000..... times worse if 4Kids got it.

No I didn't. I'm not trying to bash FUNi for what they did, I'm just saying it could have been worse and bashing 4Kids in the process. :P On the contrary, I'm very happy with FUNi for what they've done for the show. Now if they could only have a good consistent DBZ release.

I was mainly referring to what Death-T said. And sorry Vegard, it seemed you were agreeing with him.

On topic, if they ever did outtakes, no cross-promoting other series, like 18 singing the Fruits Basket theme.
