Good observation, except Cell wasn't fighting at his full power with Goku. He didn't reach Full power until his fight with SSj2 Gohan.
I always thought of the movies simply as "alternate scenarios". Because if you attempt to fit them in with the primary timeline, it comes out to not make sense. The Broly fight happens when the Cell Games happened in the series, it's just an alternate approach to things. But it's stupid because Gohan in the movie is not stronger then Goku (as suggested in the series), and Gohan doesn't have access to SSj2.

In order to prove this fact I direct you towards movie 10 in which Videl effortlessly dodged one of his punches... VIDEL! I mean come on! She shouldn't last an instant against him if he's as strong as he's supposed to be.

Incorrect. The speed of gravity is the speed of light. Even if Broly could generate enough power to shatter a galaxy (AHAHAHAHAHA), it would take about 50,000 years for the galaxy to come apart.
I think the speed of gravity is a lot less widely accepted, so I could possibly see the movie8-verse treating it as speed-less to make a point. But I don't think the writers were actually thinking about that, so... umm... why am I arguing again?

Oh, I don't deny all of that fits in just fine. I just don't agree with it because it doesn't sit right with me.

Broly couldn't instantly blow up a galaxy. That's just silly. No one can. Kid Buu couldn't even do it. Cell saying he can blow up a solar system is stupid too. You can't always take what they say so seriously. He was just being cocky. He even said he could do a spirit bomb out of cockyness. How would he destroy a solar system...? Blow up? He did, and only took out a small star. Kid Buu easily blew up Earth, but he can't destroy a solar system or galaxy or he would have back in the day, or even when he fought Goku and company.

Xyex wrote:Actually, you're the one in denial. Brolly didn't destroy the galaxy like Freeza destroyed Namek. He was even shown, during the course of the movie, attacking individual planets. And Goku was jumping from world to world in the South Galaxy looking for him. The South Galaxy is still there, that is a fact. What they were showing was a figurative representation of the damage he was doing.
No, the fact is that the MOVIE shows a GALAXY vaporizing in seconds (IE a few billion stars and planets). It doesn't matter if a few planets were left a Galaxy was STILL demolished and that is fact.

Because absolutely all imagery, ever, happens in real time, even if it creates multiple plot-holes, disagrees with canon, and violates laws of physics, right phenomenal?

What does real world physics have to do with ANY Anime or Comics in General, NONE really.

I'll remember that gravity doesn't apply to dragonball, next time I watch Goku training in a gravity room, or even walking, for that matter.

Yeah, lets not forget that Characters can fly and that they can even move or survive in that kind of heavy gravity.

Which obviously means gravity can't exist, because it justifies your point of view? Bad Toriyama, for mentioning it on multiple occasions.
Some people really believe in chi you know...dragonball just explores the concept that some people can be intouch with it enough to manifest it physically/use it's force to fly...

No my point is the physics in Anime or any comic is not goverened by the real world. So please don't act like it is.

Then how does gravity function in dragonball, since neither Toei nor AT have ever found the need to explain it, in this "different" sense? It sounds to me, like you intend it to be governed by your preconcieved ideas.

*sigh*
Everyone and their momma knows that basic gravity will be incorporated in manga/anime. I was talking about the technial things...things that the damn writers don't even think about when writing the story like...........

I'm sure if you asked any of them, they'd tell you that they only intended to incorporate parts of the basic physical laws of the universe, because Broly destroying a galaxy aboslutely has to happen in real time, or heads will explode, and many, many children will die. Clearly, had this not been true, they would have shown us years of destruction taking place, in real time. Then, the fact that Cell, in psuedo-super saiya-jin 2 state, can only manage to destroy the solar system...that's a lie, of course.
When that starts making sense, your argument might seem logical to me.

Your ENTIRE post is speculation and was never stated in the movie or Manga.
Broli destroying a galaxy is STATED and SHOWN in the Movie.
Cell stating that he can blow up the ENTIRE Solar System is stated and canon fact.
You sir are simply saying it can't happen because "the Physics isn't right."

Broly is NOT STRONG ENOUGH to destroy an entire galaxy instantly. None of the villains after him are, either. That shot was a representation of the widespread havoc he was wreaking.
