The fact they've supposedly spent half of the arc on these recruitment episodes already is not a good sign. It means they're probably going to rush the hell out of the actual tournament like they did with the Black Goku arc. It's the same pattern really, stretching out the fight between Goku,Vegeta,Trunks, Black Goku, and Zamasu for like 10 episodes even though there wasn't actually any fighting for a majority of it, just a boatload of padding with Pilaf and flashbacks and then the ending was "Super" rushed.
I have a feeling when the tournament is over these people that were hyping up and praising the recruitment episodes will feel a little disappointed after we are finished with the tournament and it will feel like it just started.
US arc so far: Is it living up to the hype?
Re: US arc so far: Is it living up to the hype?
The recruitment episodes is what everybody wanted before the arc aired. Now some are ready for the tournament to start, I am one of those people. The pacing is ok, the only piece of the puzzle we're really waiting to see is if Goku has a new form or not. We're all hyped to see that limit breaking form!!
