Why is Vegeta called genius?
Re: Why is Vegeta called genius?
Cause Vegeta bodied Goku who almost committed suicide sacrificing his body using Kaioken X4 and still couldn't kill him [And Kaiosama even stated that Vegeta didn't need to go ape to crush Goku after that]. Fought off Gohan right after and then took a Genki dama to the core and still couldn't be killed. Then proceeded to beat ape Gohan after all of that. Learned to sense ki and hide ki ON HIS own. Fought NATURALLY on Namek, with scheme and grew in raw battles. Surpassed Goku in the Android arc, used wit to trick gero into thinking he had energy when he didn't, First to achieve a form greater than Super Saiyan, wasn't foolish like Trunks to use the muscle bound version of that super saiyan form, learned god powers on his own, didn't need nakama circle, seen the weakness in Golden Freeza when Goku couldn't and carried on getting bodied by the tyrant, he touched and grabbed Hit without prep after he fought three battles and Hit was able to examine him. Beat up Goku Black whom Goku always lost too...Even when enraged.

And I'm glad he went back on that in Super, because watching him delve further into that mentality in GT was just fucking painful.Gog wrote:Vegeta isn't a genius, he's a fighting genius. He managed to break through the wall of Super Saiyan on his own, he also trick Dr Gero who at the time could have easily floored him into running away. Heck, Vegeta even admitted that Goku would always be number one in the end which was apart of the Prince's development.

So, it's good that he's gone back on his meaningful character development?Saturnine wrote:And I'm glad he went back on that in Super, because watching him delve further into that mentality in GT was just fucking painful.Gog wrote:Vegeta isn't a genius, he's a fighting genius. Re: Why is Vegeta called genius?
How is that "meaningful development"? What exactly did it accomplish? How did it make him a more enjoyable or mature character?Gog wrote:So, it's good that he's gone back on his meaningful character development?Saturnine wrote:And I'm glad he went back on that in Super, because watching him delve further into that mentality in GT was just fucking painful.Gog wrote:Vegeta isn't a genius, he's a fighting genius. These are rhetorical questions, but GT tried to answer them for you. Vegeta was turned into nothing more than Kakarot's horn-blower. It's plain not enjoyable.
Not to mention that if he had "accepted his place" in Super, he'd be nowhere near as powerful as Goku is now. Hell, he's even become stronger than Goku at a certain point, not counting Kaioken. I'm much happier with a Vegeta who's not giving up than that damn cuck happy with being the second best that we got in GT.
Re: Why is Vegeta called genius?
In the super manga he admits Goku is better than him. Asking Trunks to heal Goku when he could heal only one of them.
Better because he mastered blue and geets found this out while they were vegito.
But y'know, Goku did that *because* he is a better overall warrior than Vegeta.
