You poor guy. It sounds like YOU'RE the inbred, mentally handicapped, 1/8th Super Saiyajin.Supa Saiya-Jin Tullece wrote:I'm going to go ahead and stop posting. The more I post the farther behind I'm falling O.O
(Or is it further? Yeah, you get the idea. I'm stopping now).
((Damn pairings, make my head all retarded like.))
8D;;
Anyways. I do have to agree with SSJ Tullece's viewpoint on this supposed pairing, though. Eeew... incest. Distant incest, yes, but still... incest...

You realize how careful people try to be when they're trying to breed endangered animals, right... ? >_>;

It makes more sense to say Paris (dub=Valese) had a love-child by Goten (they don't seem to be together anymore by the time Super 17 shows up) and that's who married a grandchild of either Bra's or Trunks'. Incest is not gonna happen in the reality of DB, I really have no idea how you came up with that angle anyhow. This isn't Godfather Part 3.Olivier Hague wrote:They would make another 1/4 Saiyan, actually.
And Vegeta Jr.'s parents are Trunks and Bra's grandchildren. So they're both 1/8 Saiyan. And that makes Vegeta Jr. 1/8 Saiyan as well.
Either way, we're never given a definite amount of Vegeta Jr.'s Saiyan blood heritage, to the best of my knowledge anyway. Goku Jr.'s has at least been confirmed to be 1/16th.

Except for the fact it's not incest by that point anymore. It only takes 3 generations from the blood-line division for them to no longer be, by genetic standards, related. Grandkids of Trunks and Bra are 3 generations (Trunks/Bra, Their kids, the Grandkids). So, nope, not incest.Anyways. I do have to agree with SSJ Tullece's viewpoint on this supposed pairing, though. Eeew... incest. Distant incest, yes, but still... incest...

I'm not so sure he's refering to power so much as, er, the LSSJ 'size increase effect'...TripleRach wrote:Welllll, he's still not nearly as strong as Gohan, and she did survive him.

Didn't know about the three generations thing, but technically, we are all related. Adam got lucky with Eve and their kids got lucky with each other.Xyex wrote:Except for the fact it's not incest by that point anymore. Oh! Another fan pairing which bothers me...
SabertoothXFarmer from the first episode.
Can't find a single doujinshi store without finding at least 1 or 2 comics dedicated souly to this couple. It doesn't make any since the farmer supposedly died from the gunshot wound...
Eh, I dunno.

I realize that now, but I was thinking of the Superman thing, where the issue is more his strength than size.KaiserNeko wrote:Talkin' size difference.TripleRach wrote:Welllll, he's still not nearly as strong as Gohan, and she did survive him.KaiserNeko wrote:Uhm...

He's got a point, though, even without bringing in religion. I saw a documentry a couple months back that said pretty much everyone on the planet shares a common acestor within the last 3,000 years. Or was it 2,000? Either way you don't even have to go back to 'the source' of mankind to find that everyone's related.Olivier Hague wrote:I'm not sure the Adam/Eve thing is the best example, but... yeah. ^^;Bomber Greek wrote:Didn't know about the three generations thing, but technically, we are all related. There's a rough estimate out there that most family lines intersect with themselves at least once every 250 to 300 years. *shrug*

Well, it's not that the Japanese audience would be all that bothered by distant incest....back in the old days, it wasn't uncommon for cousins to marry in Japan (the best way to keep money in the family was to really keep it in the family). Hell, I don't know if it's actually even been outlawed now (I've seen many anime where characters lust after their cousins....)

Besides, what's "distant incest"? Incest is about close kinship. Beyond the first cousins, you're practically strangers, genetically speaking (and fourth cousins are strangers). The risk of birth defects for a second cousin mating is about the same as for a "normal" mating where the woman is 35.
