Ah, a good ol' fashioned "sucky fandom" thread. Pairings? Ooh, this one's gonna be a doozy.
Well, obviously there's the ones that make NO sense whatsoever. The already mentioned Broly x Videl pairing fits this category like a glove, as do a bunch of the other random ones you guys have already mention. You might as well ship Mr. Satan x Random Zombie, going by such criteria. No, wait. Please don't.
Next are pairings involving "the yaoi." I'm sorry, desperate, lonely fangirls, but it just ain't feasible, especially when between rivals such as Goku and Vegeta. "Intense rivalry" =/= "sexual tension." The only yaoi pairing that might have some slight, tiny level of "credulity" to it would be Goten x Trunks, but only if you wanna read a lot into their "relationship." Even then, there's practically no basis for it, especially with how much of a skirt-chaser Goten evidently becomes.

Next, in all my "research" for my FanFic, I've obviously been exposed to a lot of Trunks x Pan material, and I gotta say, it come to put me off a lot. It's just creepy, for crying out pete. I mean, Trunks has at least a good ten years on Pan, who is supposed to be, like, 12 or something in GT. Ugh.
To be fair, there are a few non-canon pairings that can (read: CAN, not always) be done fairly well. Bulma x Goku is one of them. Goku has always been more of a little brother figure to Bulma, but she still cares for him a lot, and I've read a couple decent AU fics where this one has been done fairly realistically. Same with Gohan x Lime.
One last point. ANY pairing can be funny when presented in a humorous, non-serious manner. You have no idea how much I've guffawed over some certain mock-Goku x Vegeta stuff.

... To be fair, it's a phenomenal fanfiction, but I still love Krillin/18 too much.
