Gosh, is that really necessary? That's something that I hate about Super characterization, why portray characters in such regression? That's something that I would expect from Android arc/Movie 6 Vegeta, not the same guy after the Boo arc, damn.

Goku's never actually seen the Hakai technique in the manga. It's still not a huge deal, since it doesn't seem like a terribly complex technique, just thought I'd mention it.
Oh my god, this makes even worse. I know Spirit Bomb Sword was also this level of nonsense, but I didn't expect Toyotaro would go full nuts on it.
Ki Breaker wrote:Hakai is OP, It won't be easy writing him in the future, addressing the question why he didn't use hakai in future fights is going to be though
Not really. Goku is not the type of wanting to obliterate his opponents all the time, but this technique indeed make him OP. He shouldn't have learn it.

Looks like a really awesome chapter so far. Though the Hakai thing if it can be called that, is a double edged sword. It's gonna become practically the new Kienzan, but only worse potentially. Still GOKU ADDS NEW TECHNIQUES FOR ONCE! That's so much better than just "RAGGH BRUTE FORCE/NEW FORM/POWER UP". More techniques please to add to the arsenal.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

They wouldn't have had a chance to see it. That's a pretty weird mistake, perhaps Toyotaro has forgotten he didn't have Goku tag along with Beerus when he confronted Zamasu. I get what Toyotaro's going for though, now that he's properly maintaining God Ki inside of him, his attacks resemble that of an actual god.
They had plenty of chances to see it. They trained with Whis on Beerus' planet.
In the movie, Beerus Hakai'd an egg. Beerus also expects Goku and Vegeta to become Gods of Destruction, so I'm sure he showed them the ability

Shallow reaction comment: I like what Toyotaro is doing with Blue in the manga. It feels appropriately momentous.

(I also like that Whis was the one to name it "Blue.")

He can't use that technique in the top since killing is not allowed, your just over reacting

It's implied they learnt it while training at Berrus, Vegeta knows it as well with it's drawbacks..

Goku has one chance at using hakai after that his energy is zero, unless only he gets to kill and somehow manages to eradicate this drawback, he can't spam hakai..

Trunks genki sword has way more holes than this, dropping managa based on some scans which mostly make sense seems extreme

Genkidama sword was bad as hell and I'm still mad at this... Same goes for Ikari.

Still this one is taking the cake... and I'm not only talking about hakai... Something someone as Goku shouldn't have.

Just think of him using it casually like Beerus

Trunks needed Goku and Vegeta God Ki besides the humans Ki to achieve the Genkidama mode.

We have already seen people give their ki to others(Goku to Frieza, Krillin/Gohan to Piccolo in Namek, Piccolo to Gohan in FnF and ToP Arc).

He can't use it casually. He has to use MSSB, and then he loses all his energy just by using it once.

And the misfire of the Super Saiyan God ritual before they added Videl. Goku took their ki and got a lot stronger.

And Goku to Krillin in Saiyan arc. But following the logic some people go about FT Trunks Genki Sword scene, I guess Krillin can do the Genkidama alone too.

A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Favourite old DB Animators: Masaki Sato and Tadayoshi Yamamuro
Favourite new DB Animators: Yuya Takahashi and Chikashi Kubota

Again... What if he will master it... And do it casually like Beerus?

Think a bit into the future... Hakai being done by mortals is just bad as Trunks and his healing abilities.

Some stuff should stay unique to the gods

But I bet manga Goku will learn Zeno's universe multiveral erasing attack as well

Beerus has said multiple times he wants Goku to be the next god of destruction. So it's maybe not a coincidence.

That would be another reason to Toppo and other gods to despise/hate him. This is an nice build up to the Tournament of Power

Because Goku is known for using killing techniques against everyone with every given chance.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.
