For those who dislike the Season Sets, don't forget about desirecampbell's shit-in-a-box-and-mail-it-to-FUNi idea. The bigger your dump, the louder your voice.

Oh yeah, weren't they only available on VHS, what with DVD's not being popular until 2000?Li'l Lemmy wrote:While I originally thought that with the first two seasons being a first-time uncut release that the Season Three set was going to be the first real "test" of sorts, but the fact that the previous DVDs of these episodes never got released as a complete set (or even with consistent eyecatcher inclusion and complete playback) has changed my thinking.
This set might be the biggest seller yet.

I have all the Freeza discs on DVD. Granted, no eyecatches, but they have good subtitles and are otherwise uncut. I see no reason to re-purchase.jjgp1112 wrote:Oh yeah, weren't they only available on VHS, what with DVD's not being popular until 2000?Li'l Lemmy wrote:While I originally thought that with the first two seasons being a first-time uncut release that the Season Three set was going to be the first real "test" of sorts, but the fact that the previous DVDs of these episodes never got released as a complete set (or even with consistent eyecatcher inclusion and complete playback) has changed my thinking.

...or two weeks early...Let's remember that this is Zstore. When you order a season set off them, you get it at least 5 days early! As much as it pains me to say it, I might be picking this up. Damn you FUNimation, why didn't you release the Freeza saga in a DVD box set?
Heads in the sand, everyone! So basically, you're saying: "Yes, I'm getting screwed, but I'm going to revert to severe-denial mode and pretend that I like it. THANK YOU FUNi, MAY I HAVE ANOTHER."Supa Saiya-Jin Tullece wrote:Yeah, I for one have managed to ignore the widescreen and have managed to observe what's on my screen instead of trying to imagine what isn't anymore.
I'm aware, and I guess if you're cool with putting down an extra $8, plus shipping fees (which are, no doubt, inflated) so it'll arrive two weeks sooner, then that's your journey. I'm just saying that, IMO, it's a waste of money, and another one of FUNi's methods of milking its compulsive, pushover fanbase.Tanooki Kuribo wrote:Uh, Z-store just happens to ship things like two weeks earlier.
Nah, I'm just saying I got used to it. I mean, I haven't watched the series in a long time, I became a fan again, it's never on TV, I'd rather wait for the Kanzenban to buy the rest of the manga, so why not go with the cheap alternative to piracy?FDLink wrote:Heads in the sand, everyone!
