Yes, we wanted female Super Saiyans, not female Super Saiyan Blue. Not enough being able to transform in the most stupid and easiest way ever (don't come with Goten and Trunks cause I also think it was bad back then, but a little better), but now probably having the chance to become SSJB out of nothing? I pray for Toei to not do that us, we don't deserve that.

Kale was pointless, gets all the promotion but it's Caulifa ends up hogging the spotlight and getting SSB

Just look at the amount of people upset after reading the spoilers:

She deserves all that hatred, she's a cocky brat that never knew about SSJ until Cabba told about it, learned to become one and later SSJ2 in a spam of minutes. And also her design sucks.

It's all unpredictable now! EVERYONE, me included, thought Muten/18/Tenshinhan would be the first to fall. They surprised us by taking down Krillin.
Now everything can happen.

She went SSJ2 within minutes of going SSJ1 and with the way that the writers seem to love her i won't be shocked in she gets SSB before Cabba and Kale's already got her Broly forms.

This makes the 4 months with Frieza look like great writing in comparison.

Slightly off topic: I find it funny how that old "rumor" from I think 4chan mentioned Krillin would be getting DQ due to someone being killed by the Kienzin....never thought anything of it due to the other claims like a Tea Party filler with the angels. Just ironic that they could possibly be right about Krillin.

But, how that even works? For example: Krillin kills X fighter from Universe Y, the fighter is gone due being killed and thus impairing his home universe? Or the Grand Priest bring him back or something? I don't know if killing gets you DQ but can also harm the other universes

The DQ is to make up for the killed fighter, or else loads of people would get themselves killed on purpose to DQ others but get revived.

All Whis did to further Goku and Vegeta's SSB training was teach them to keep their ki inside and made them fight in the staff so they had to do it. In fact, the very next episode after Whis teaches them that, he's irritated that they get more out of punching each other than they do from listening to him. There's nothing about SSB that really requires an Angel's teaching from what we've seen of it.

He also pointed out how exceptionally well they were doing.

Which I'm sure almost 40 years of experience and training helped as well.

I would believe that if you broke the rules (ie: killing or using weapons) you would be disqualified in the same sense Frost would have been if Vegeta didn't interfere.

It would mainly be that if fighter a from universe X defeats fighter B from universe Y, but in the process kills fighter B, not only is fighter B out of the tournament but fighter A is out to make up for the killing.

They probably are going to happen just like the Frieza return did, to which I STILL hate. But we should see how it will play out. I have to give it the benefit of doubt because if it's bad it will be my last hurrah with Super.

Someone up-thread mentioned in passing that Krillin is holding the 1 Star Dragon Ball, and I think you could be onto something. Looking at the opening (as far as I can decipher), it appears to be this order;

1. Krillin
2. Piccolo
3. Master Roshi
4. Tien Shinhan
5. #17
6. #18
7. Frieza

(I may have gotten #17 and #18 the wrong way around, though. They're hard to make out on my phone's Crunchyroll stream

Its clear Toei knowing a popular comic relief character was first to be eliminated. We had to be tortured with FILLER because god forbid Krillin just cant go away. 2 episodes of into the woods. Him getting shine against Gohan and Goku while be recruited. Even this last ditch hoorah is probably Toeis way of making him relevant. While Akira did not see it that way. Cant wait for the manga to catch up.

Lol whats negative about this? And what's the problem? One lets start off based on the leaks Krillin might get disqualified because the Kienzan killed someone. So my previous topic which you called hate would be right. Second how else do you explain 2 episodes of Krillin getting his fighting spirit back. His receuitment episode in which he out smarted Gohan in a tournament style fight using a strategy Gohan litterally just faced and won? Lol The the Goku beam struggle. And twice emphasizing that they need Krillins strategy. Just for him to be the first gone? Others have come to the same conclusion. Pointing out facts you take as being negative. We can visit this when the manga catches up and we get no such Krillin build up and he is eliminated first in a different telling.

The description makes it sound more like Kale transforms while Caulifla is figuring it out to me. I think she'll get the basic idea down, but will need to practice after the tournament to actually achieve the transformation.

As long as he gets a shining moment before the DQ, that's all that really matters. Having 18 be mentioned tells me that someone is messing with his wife, and I'm sure Kuririn isn't going to let them get away with it ;D.

I'd love the same for Piccolo, Roshi and Tien too. If they have at least one badass moment before being taken out, it's fine with me. If they just get one shot after doing nothing then that would be pretty disappointing.
